ArtLab11 is a creative studio located in Saint-Laurent, Montreal. We offer guided workshops, a creative lab with or without reservations, birthday and event packages, and a creative club for children. All materials are included and no experience is necessary.

For guided workshops and the creative club, yes. For the creative lab, booking is suggested but not mandatory. You can show up on-site if there are still available spots. Birthdays and private events must be booked via the form.

Not at all. Our workshops are designed for beginners. Each activity is guided step-by-step, at your own pace. The goal is the joy of creating, not the final result.

Great! Our workshops give you access to specialized materials and equipment that would be expensive to purchase on your own. It's an opportunity to explore new techniques in a relaxing environment, meet other enthusiasts, or simply come create without having to set everything up at home.

Guided workshops and creative labs are open to adults and teens aged 14 and up (or 8 and up accompanied by an adult). The creative club welcomes children aged 6 to 14, depending on the group.

Yes, always. The price of each activity includes all necessary materials. You get to take your creation home with you. A herbal tea is also offered with each visit.

Creative Labs are sessions shorter, more accessible, and more flexible, perfect for exploring your creativity at your own pace. There are always a minimum of 3 craft activities offered, and they change often. Reservations are recommended, but not required (depending on availability). You benefit from light supervision with advice as needed, but the approach remains semi-guided to give you more freedom.

Guided workshops offer an experience Complete and structured, with step-by-step guidance from beginning to end. They are generally longer and allow you to learn a specific technique while completing a finished project.

Yes, all attendees need a ticket to reserve their spot.

There are 4 sessions per year, each lasting 8 weeks (January/February, April/May, September/October, November/December).

Creative Labs and Workshops

Booking and payment
Workshop bookings are confirmed only after full payment or the required deposit has been received.

Cancellation by the client
All cancellations must be made by email.

• Cancellation more than 72 hours before the workshop: full refund 
• Cancellation between 24 and 72 hours before the workshop: credit for a future workshop only (no refunds).
• Cancellation less than 24 hours before the workshop or no-show: no refund or credit.

Delays
Workshops begin at the scheduled time. In case of delay, lost time cannot be made up or refunded.

Seat transfer
The client may transfer their spot to another person free of charge by notifying the studio in writing in advance.

Cancellation by the studio
If the workshop is canceled by the Studio (insufficient participants or unforeseen circumstances), the client will receive a full refund or credit, according to their preference.

Act of God
In exceptional circumstances (serious illness, emergency), the Studio reserves the right to offer credit on a case-by-case basis.

Anniversaries and Events

Booking and payment
The studio booking for a birthday or event is confirmed only after receiving the required 100$ deposit. ET the signing of the contract.

Cancellation by the client
All cancellations must be made by email.

• Cancellation more than 30 days in advance: full deposit refund or credit.
• Cancellation less than 15 days prior: deposit non-refundable.
• In case of no-show, no refund of the deposit will be made.

Delays
Events start on time. In the event of a delay, lost time cannot be reclaimed or reimbursed.

Cancellation by the studio
If the workshop is canceled by the Studio, the client will receive a full refund or credit, per their preference.

Act of God
In exceptional circumstances (serious illness, emergency), the Studio reserves the right to offer credit on a case-by-case basis.

Creative Club and Creative Camp

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. This policy allows us to offer small, high-quality groups and a wonderful creative experience for every child 💛 

Booking and payment
Full payment is required to reserve your child's place.

Places are limited and non-transferable.

Cancellation by the client
All cancellations must be made by email.

• Cancellation made 14 days or more before the start of the session: full refund.
• Cancellations made less than 14 days before the start date: non-refundable, but a credit may be offered for a future activity.
• Once the session has begun, no refunds or credits will be issued.

Absences

• Missed classes (illness, scheduling conflicts, etc.) are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• No repeat courses are guaranteed.

• A make-up class could be offered in another group, depending on availability.

Cancellation by the studio

• If a class is canceled by the studio (e.g., insufficient registrations, unforeseen circumstances), you will have the choice between:
  • A full refund, or
  • A transfer to another session.

Minimum number of participants

• A minimum number of registrations is required for the course to take place.
• You will be notified in advance if the session needs to be canceled.

Late fee

• A fee of 5$ per 10–15 minute increment may apply for delays after the end time.
