Good Night Programming

Long ago, buried deep in your childhood memories. It began just like any other evening. You were watching TV in the dark. The Disney Channel sent a warm farewell to its audience, signing off for the day and beginning their nightly testing. On any other night, it would’ve been your cue to go to sleep. Except this time, something was different. On one magical night unlike any other, the programming returned and continued long through the night. Long lost shows, bumpers, and interstitials that would never be seen again took their last breath. This strange and mystical block of programming went in and out of static, as though the broadcast was attempting to correct itself. This was not a dream. You were the only one awake to see it, and nobody would ever believe you if you told them. That one night, the magic never went to sleep, and neither did you.
