On June 24, 2022, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of life in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the landmark case that overturned Roe v. Wade. This returned the power to regulate abortion back to the American people. Roe prohibited states from abolishing abortion, but now, state legislatures as well as federal lawmakers can and should take all steps necessary to protect life.
Tune in this week to hear members of the Senate make remarks on the floor of their chamber to remember the Dobbs decision and urge their colleagues to unanimously support legislation that will further protect babies and their mothers. The goal of these pro-life Senators is to place abortion and the protection of women and girls squarely before the public. Pro-abortion lawmakers should have to explain their out-of-touch positions on abortion-on-demand from conception until birth, paid for by taxpayers, and lacking basic protections for vulnerable moms-to-be.

Even as we rejoice that Roe v. Wade was overturned, we must urge our pro-life Senators to continue the fight. The One Big, Beautiful Bill defunded Planned Parenthood and other abortion giants – but only for one year. That year expires on July 4th. If Congress does not act soon, Planned Parenthood will be able to receive your tax dollars to support their genocide.
