The MVP COE Award will be presented to an outstanding Offensive Lineman who excels on the field, in the classroom, and in the community.

<p>Mark Vincent Pelini, a former Cardinal Mooney High School and University of Nebraska center, was remembered for his discipline, courage, and leadership both on and off the field. The Mark Vincent Pelini Foundation has created the MVP Center of Excellence Award in his honor. This award will recognize an outstanding offensive lineman (center) from Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana, Summit, and Stark counties who excels in athletics, academics, and community</p><p>service. High school coaches can nominate one center, and twelve finalists will be chosen. The winner will be announced at an award breakfast on December 13. </p>
