Our small group BEGINNER PILATES REFORMER COURSES are the perfect kick start to moving and feeling better, prior to joining our regular classes.
Over the 4 weeks, you will meet with your highly qualified instructor once per week in small groups of up to 6 people. The lessons take you through the essentials of good posture, core stability, and flexibility while gaining control and confidence — all in a safe, supportive environment.
This isn’t just a class to feel the reformer— it’s your foundation for pain-free, efficient movement.
WHO IS IT FOR?
This course is perfect if you:
• Are a complete Beginner to Pilates Reformer or pilates in general.
• Wish to learn how to move better in a safe and inclusive environment
• Want to improve posture or reduce aches and stiffness
• Sit a lot or feel tight through your hips/back and wish to be active longer
• Want to build strength and balance safely without high impact
If you’ve ever thought “I need to get stronger and longer, but don’t know where to start” — this is for you.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
Week 1 – Foundations & Pilates Principles
Learn how your body should move using core Pilates principles including breathing, alignment, stability and flow. We will use the mat and reformer to build these foundations.
Week 2 – Reformer Basics
Building on week 1 we get a little more comfortable on the reformer in preparation for classes. You will learn how it works, springs and settings, safety elements and of course start experiencing the essential movements.
Week 3 – Strength & Control
Build strength through controlled movement patterns, focusing on core stability, balance, and coordination.
Week 4 – Confidence & Flow
Start linking movements together so you feel ready and confident to step into a regular class.
+ Bonus Class
Put everything into practice with a regular class once you’ve completed the course.

If you are currently managing an injury or have been referred by a medical professional, we recommend starting with a our Specialist 1:1 sessions where we can guide you safely at your own pace to feel ready for classes or reaching your movement goals.
