the best book adaptation i’ve seen to date and in my opinion the best adaptation of the novel ever. this was so insanely beautifully shot with some of the most breathtaking cinematography i’ve ever seen. also insane performance from the lead actor and side characters/villains. everyone was so perfectly casted. 

i know some people don’t like foreign films because of the subtitles, but this film was so immersive and thrilling that it didn’t even feel like one, even with a runtime of 3 hours. 

this is now instantly in my top favorite films and I will be begging everyone around me to go see it.
