Terminator and spider-man 2 reference?!?

Just as good the 2nd time.

This film managed to make me feel a way I don't even know how to describe, I'm guessing primarily from the amazing score and that 3rd act/lighthouse scene. Although it can be confusing at parts but that's the point of the shimmer, something we cannot comprehend as it's motive is unknown.

I will 100% have to check out more Alex Garland films.
