Mainly intended to stimulate dopamine production in the minds of elderly dementia patients.

There are many offensive elements of the plot and the lighting and singing are terrible. But this movie’s worst offense is that it is completely humorless. This is a musical about a cartel leader who transitions then tries to solve the tens of thousands of disappearances in Mexico… that is an outrageous premise!!! Much more straightforward movies have at least a joke here or there. This one on the other hand is totally allergic to camp. Terminally earnest and unfunny, which is how you know a trans person never got anywhere near the screenplay. Perfect movie for recently lobotomized people — full frontal, not partial.
