Whatever you can do, BTS members can do better. And that is science! The Billboard-smashing Korean Pop band continues to wow fans worldwide. They’ve had some impressive achievements and if you ask us, they've done all of this in a very short time. The band has taken the music industry by storm and social media is a reflection of it. When they aren’t in the news for breaking records or nailing collaborations, they are making waves by just being themselves. Literally!

BTS member and popular K-pop idol, Jungkook took a lap in the pool and swam his way into being mistaken for Michael Phelps. Now, if that name sounds familiar to you, it is because he is a legend in competitive swimming. The pro athlete is a 28-time Olympic champion and one of the most decorated Olympians at present. Now, we aren’t disregarding the sportsman’s prowess in the pool, but will you look at Jungkook for a sec?

The guy just took a lap timed 29 seconds. It was a super fast swim and with that build, it’s easy to see how he got mistaken for an athlete. If you think we’re hyping it up, you should see what the internet is saying about it:

Not long ago, Jungkook was in the news with American pop star Ariana Grande. Possible collaboration? Right before that, we had some more BTS mania doing the rounds. They gave The Beatles, the most iconic boy band of the millennium a wonderful tribute. That performance was just more fan service, adding more American fans to their ARMY (the Kpop band’s fanbase).

Just to give you some context, being a K-pop star requires one to maintain a rigorous fitness routine. I mean, have you seen BTS member, Jimin’s high jumps in the music videos. Check out their choreography videos and you’ll know exactly why he got mistaken for an Olympian.
