It’s getting to be crunch time for the 2026 MLB draft cycle.

With the start of the draft now less than three weeks away, Baseball America presents the latest update to our ranking of the top 500 players available to teams once MLB commissioner Rob Manfred steps up to the podium on Saturday, July 11.

We’re now in the fine-tuning stage of our draft rankings. We’re attempting to capture as much late-season movement as possible by way of the latest player performances, injury news and industry feedback from across the country.

UCLA shortstop Roch Cholowsky continues to lead the class and is followed by Texas high school shortstop Grady Emerson and Georgia Tech catcher Vahn Lackey in the top three. UC Santa Barbara righthander Jackson Flora and Florida high school hitter Jacob Lombard round out the top five.
