“Looks like they know you,” The guard said. “I guess that would make sense with the amount of trouble you keep giving us breaking these things!” The first guard held the paper up so Right could read it.

Double upload with the return of Lost Children too! I just need to fix 'Ch.28 - Mission Complete?’ and we are ready to progress the story!

Also, very chuffed with this cover. Big upgrade from it’s predecessor, but I suppose that’s what 3 years of practice will do, lol.

Also, Ben/B-12 got a visual overhaul to work with the new story details (the manipulator lore) and just general improvements from my improved visual storytelling. No he looks much more like a sort of cop, which, I guess if you squint at it is what the CCC’s Delta Team is.

Summary

“Where the hell would they have moved it?” Manaaki grumbled, rubbing his neck which must have been getting stiff from staring up at the higher rows of shipping containers. “This was meant to be a standard heist!”
Manaaki continued his constant yapping and Macbeth scowled, he was reaching his wits end with this kid.
‘Standard heist’ he huffed to himself. There is no such thing as a ‘standard heist’.

Tonight has been a good writing night. I definitely didn’t need those 2 hours of sleep I should have already gotten, lol.

This was a much better use of my time!

[WIP below. Raw and fresh out of the writers brain. This baby hasn’t even been proofread, let alone Beta :P]

“Y- YOU EXCEPTED HIS POSITION?!” Reginald stuttered, anger mixing with disbelief. “What on EARTH were you thinking! I’m not even sure this ‘Head of Security’ he has come up with is a Clan legal position!”
Macbeth sighed, continuing to unpack his things. He wasn’t exactly thrilled about moving into the Airship for Suave’s position, he didn’t need Reginald adding to those feelings that had left him feeling physically ill all week. “Anything else Right Hand?” He asked, patience wearing thin. “I’ve got a headache and I’d like to be left to rest in peace.”
“NO! OF COURSE THAT WASN’T ‘it’!”

Macbeth flopped onto his bunk, pulling a pillow over his head and listened to the sound of Reginald pacing the length of his small room.
“I don’t even know WHERE to start with you! Or him!” He continued, “Whatever he’s up to, I doubt its anything good, and I am HIGHLY concerned as to why he wants you involved in his new scheme!”
God. Macbeth was so fucking tired of this drama between them. “Isn’t a Right Hands job to trust their leader?” He deadpanned.
“Well- yes, but- not him!” Reginald stuttered, trying to defend himself. “If Terrence has proven ANYTHING over the last 2 years, it’s he’s-“
“Reginald.” Macbeth rolled over, removing the pillow from his face. He waited for the Right Hand to at least stop pacing, which, he eventually did. “I get you don’t agree with his ideas, and not all of ‘em are the ‘best’ ideas available, but what your saying is starting to sound A LOT like mutiny. You do realise that, right?”
“I-“
Macbeth didn’t let him finish. “And if someone overhears this shit, you’re gonna get reported and demoted, best case scenario.”
Finally, Reginald shut up.

“Look,” He sighed, sitting upright and holding his pillow. “I know you’re just trying to do what your uncle taught ya, and what you think is best for the clan but… maybe the other Elites are right about him. Maybe he’s not the problem. Maybe it’s us, and the way we view the Chief. Maybe if you start trying to see things from his perspective, then shit’ll start running smoother around here again.”
“W- what has gotten into you, recently?” Reginald scowled between his confusion. “You told me yourself when he became Chief you didn’t trust him, but now you suddenly do?!”
Macbeth folded his arms tighter around his pillow, sick rising in his throat. “Maybe I was wrong about him.”
“Macbeth…” Reginald shook his head slowly. “Whatever Terrence has told you… He knows he’s loosing his grasp on the Toppat Clan; He’s panicking. He knows he can’t live up to Sir Wilford, he- he can’t even maintain the Clan he was left behind!” He walked forward and put a hand on Macbeth’s lap, kneeling down to meet his eyes. “I do not know what he’s offered you, or said to you, but he is using you and it is all going to end in the flames of his dethroning that will burn you in the process.”

I’m trying, but my brain is like… ‘This idea right here could be such an interesting addition to write’ and then, once I get started it’s like, 'YOU FOOL! This scene won’t work here, but it’s far too good to throw out. Make it its own!’

So um… I’m making progress. But in the wrong direction, lol.

Are you fucking SERIOUS!” Macbeth yelled at Nick, smoke practically coming out of his ears. “He wants me to get a full fucking medical?!?” The train driver jumped off the wooden fence in the back paddock and kicked the ground hard, sending grass and dirt flying. “LYING BASTARD! ’I’ll be your friend’ he said, more like ‘I’ll have you quietly decommissioned from the clan to keep in good favours with Copperbottom!’”
“Mac…” Nick sighed, from where he still sat on the fence. “He doesn’t mean it like that-“
“YOU THINK?! Well what else does he fucking think?! That I like getting jabbed with needles and shit!”

Nick smirked, “I mean~”

“That wasn’t a question!”

So… I may have a new favourite movie and HAD to get the book too. Only problem was they only had 3 copies in my whole area and I don’t like the cover variant, so… decided to make my own >:)

The typography needs refining a bit more, but otherwise I’m excited to get it fixed up, printed out & bound!

IDK if it was meant as a “kind of switch the characters clothes swap AU and that's it” or not, but I did my own take and made it a full AU.

Intro of the tHSc Swap AU:
Henry tired of always starting as the low and pathetic criminal, decided to try and change the reality they live in (you could say he hacked his own reality)
At first it was only him and Reginald, since well, just switching 2 “data folders” and editing some things was the easiest way out, but after some times Henry started to have fun again, so he decided to change more things, this time he wondered what would happen if they switched Charles for Right, after all, both of them are very loyal to their causes or people around them, so Henry did, not only that, he with time started to change and switch more and more people around, without changing them much themselves, yet Henry didn’t notice that their world started to change, to adapt to the changes he did, how much characters took their new roles, Henry didn’t notice when Charels started to stop being the one he remember, how Charles became both more tactical and cold yet wilder when in fight, not how Right became more soft and kind, how Reginald become more easy going and joked more around nor how stories started to change and expand, how timelines started to switch, to become something new, and how Reginald started to… somehow learn how to predict Henry’s movement, but how? He couldn’t remember past timelines, right? So, he shouldn’t know Henry’s name when they meet every time or they way it said it, in a such a hatred filled way, and how Reginald tried every, SINGLE time, to become the clan leader again.
It was only residual data, right?

anyways, this took forever, so I hope you folks like it, see ya next post 🫶🫶🫶

Busy, busy, busy! I’ve been chipping away at lots of projects and some other stuff I’ve been meaning to get around to between my classwork.

Quantainium: Rays of Crystallum

I’ve decided to focus on developing one of the games my fictional Video Game Studio, Quantainium, would have published. This first one being: Rays of Crystallum. In story, it’s an RPG Co-Op monster collecting & battling game, with a story focused on teaching kids about endangered animals and the environment.

As a project (so, what you & me could hypothetically play in the future) the intent here is: It’s going to be like a nostalgic pokemon game, except, the story is a lot darker than you remember, and maybe that video game company you loved so much wasn’t actually that great of a place in reality, which really raises the questions of what else were they up to… (cause you know, Poppy/FNaF inspiration, wink, wink).

Gameplay: Side-scroller RPG, with a turn-based combat system like GBA era Pokemon, or Nexomon, except, instead of the attacks’ auto happening once you choose them, you enter a full-action combat phase where you have a limited amount of time to execute the moves you’ve chosen and hit your enemy.

Here’s a little mock-up I made to explain it to a friend who knows coding to figure out if this idea is viable or not (which, he said it would be. Just a MASSIVE work load to do all the sprite and animation work for a whole ‘Pokédex’ worth of enemies ).

Thoughts? I know I have a mostly THSC or Poppy Playtime following here, but I’m genuinely interested in some feedback, if this is the sort of things folks would be interested in seeing as a finalised project.

Toppat Clan Rising

We are making fabulous progress folks! I’ve been chipping away at Ch.10 the last week, jumping between that one and a couple new chapters to support the aftermath. I am SO excited for this story. I just love it the more I work on it :)

Ch.9 has a new stuff at the start! Ch.10 has too many jumps in time, so one of those scenes I’ve moved one to the previous chapter to help cut it down as it was feeling jarring. So check that out!

Ch.10 is just shy of 3,000 words, and I’m down to one last big scene to write (the most important one, ironically). It’s been a hard chapter to figure out, which is why it’s taken me this long. I’ve been struggling to balance the side characters personalities and actions, especially Manaaki (& Macbeth’s interaction). We know by Lost Children Manaaki hates Macbeth and I know the reason why, so the challenge for me has been balancing the before that why happens with the fact he thinks Macbeth’s a jerk, without falling into that stereotypical “We’ll he’s an asshole at our first interaction, so I’m going to treat him like one back forever now!”

Here’s a snippet of Ch.10 (this is still a first draft btw):

“Hey,” Manaaki called, pulling Macbeth from his thoughts. The kid had dropped back to join Macbeth at the groups rear. His smile was slightly crooked, a clear attempt at trying to be friendly despite how obvious it was to all 4 of them that Macbeth was the problem here, and if they could snap their fingers to make him disappear, they would. “How you holding up?”
Macbeth didn’t answer, figuring like his mentor, Manaaki didn’t actually care for his response. However, that didn’t seem to be the case.
“You keep staring at the fog like it’s going to jump out at you or something,” There was a slightly chuckle to his words, slight amusement. However, the kid followed it up with, “It is pretty bad this morning, huh? It’ll clear up soon, tho! I give it about half-an-hour, once the sun gets a bit higher on the horizon. So, you don’t need to worry about it for too much longer.”
Macbeth caught a glance of Simon and Blackout staring at him with two matching looks of disgust. Why can’t he be anywhere but here.
“Alright.” Manaaki said, “Keep your silence. But an away party leader’s job is to make sure everyone in their team is okay, even IF I disagree with Hōkū shoving you onto it. So, if you need anything… just call out, okay?”
“…”

As you can see, still more work to be done to get it to read nice, but the meat and bones are about all there now.

Righty'o, I return to my productivity cave now :)
