The largest Independence Day event in South Florida is returning to the DowntownWPB Waterfront on Saturday, July 4 from 5-10 p.m. as the community celebrates America’s 250th anniversary!
South Florida’s largest FREE Independence Day celebration features live entertainment across three stages, family-friendly activities, patriotic tributes, delicious eats, and a spectacular 18-minute fireworks and laser show synchronized over the Intracoastal.

Plan ahead before you arrive. Temporary road closures and special event parking rates will be in effect throughout the celebration.
Road Closures
Beginning Thursday, July 2 at 4 p.m. through Sunday, July 5, the following roads will be closed:
City Dock Closure
City docks will be closed to all boats and pedestrians on Saturday, July 4, from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Docking will not be permitted during this time.
For the safety of event attendees and boaters, docking will not be permitted at City docks during the event.
Boaters planning to view the show from the waterway should make alternate plans before heading downtown, must anchor at least 150 feet from the seawall or marina in accordance with F.S.S. 327.4109, and at least 500 feet from the fireworks barge, per the City Fire Marshal.
Event Parking
Special event parking rates apply from 3 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. Parking fees must be prepaid upon entering City garages.

Kick off Independence Day on Saturday, July 4 with the 6th Annual Bill Bone 5K! This fun-filled event combines fitness and community spirit with a touch of friendly competition.
The race begins at 7 p.m. at the corner of S. Flagler Drive and Fern Street, and all proceeds benefit the Wounded Veterans Relief Fund.

Keep the Fourth of July celebration going at West Palm Cowboy with live music, live band karaoke, surprise entertainment, and festive activations, beginning Thursday, July 2. The weekend concludes on Sunday, July 5 with Pony Show Vol. 4, bringing even more music, energy, and holiday fun to Downtown West Palm Beach.
Celebrate America’s 250th birthday with a festive Fourth of July weekend at The Ben Hotel from Friday, July 3 through Sunday, July 5. Guests can enjoy live music, DJ sets, rooftop celebrations, poolside vibes, giveaways, and one of Downtown West Palm Beach’s premier views of the 4th on Flagler fireworks. The festivities are free to attend with no cover charge, though early arrival is recommended due to limited rooftop capacity.
For an elevated experience, a limited number of VIP Fireworks Viewing tickets are available on the Rooftop Ballroom terrace. Priced at $45 per person, the VIP experience includes premium views of the fireworks over the waterfront and an open bar featuring beer, wine, and canned cocktails from 8–10 p.m.
Celebrate Independence Day with the Red, White & Brew Pub Crawl from 4:30-9 p.m. on Saturday, July 4! Starting at Garden District Taproom, this festive crawl invites participants to don their stars and stripes and explore participating venues while enjoying patriotic fun, contests, prizes, and plenty of patriotic spirit.
Take in the sights and sounds of the holiday from one of Downtown West Palm Beach’s premier rooftop destinations! On Saturday, July 4 from 7–11 p.m., Treehouse Rooftop offers panoramic views, live music by DJ Grhymes, signature cocktails, a special holiday food menu, and an energetic atmosphere perfect for taking in the festivities.
