Hæ hó júbbí jei - it's Iceland's National Day! We encountered minke whales surfacing briefly while travelling, and large numbers of humpback whales spread across the bay showing intense feeding activity, lunge feeding, bubble-net feeding, breaching and a wide range of social surface behaviours including tail slapping and peduncle throws. Seabirds were heavily present throughout the day as well!

You guessed it, another wonderful day on the water! We encountered minke whales travelling and surfacing briefly, white-beaked dolphins in active pods jumping, circling and feeding alongside other species, and multiple humpback whales showing intense feeding behaviour, social interactions and powerful surface activity including breaching, tail slapping and peduncle throws!
