Representing the Faculty of Law of Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary, Prof. Dr. Tóth J. Zoltán, Dean and Head of the Department of Legal Theory, and Dr. Ádám Miklós Balássy, Assistant Professor, participated in the 32nd World Congress of the International Association for Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy (IVR), held at Kadir Has University in Istanbul between 28 June and 3 July 2026. The congress was organized under the theme Law in the Face of the Changing Problems of the World.

Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary hosted a delegation from the Dr. Lazar Vrkatić Faculty of Law and Business Studies of the Serbian UNION University, led by Prof. Dr. Tamás Korhecz, Dean. The delegation of Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary was led by Prof. Dr. László Trócsányi, Rector. Representatives of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Law, and the Faculty of Economic, Health and Social Sciences also participated in the meeting.

A delegation from our university paid a professional visit to Banská Bystrica, where discussions were held with the leadership of Matej Bel University on opportunities for cooperation between the two institutions. The delegation was led by Rector László Trócsányi.

International graduates of the LL.M. in European and International Business Law programme at the Faculty of Law of Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary received their diplomas at a ceremonial graduation event held on 26 June 2026 in the Faculty Council Chamber.

The graduation ceremony ont he 26th of June was marked by a truly international spirit as fourteen students from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences received their diplomas in the English Studies and Psychology programmes. The graduates arrived in Budapest from ten different countries, further enriching the diverse academic community of Károli.

On 8 June 2026, Prof. Dr. Zoltán Tóth, Dean of the Faculty of Law of Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary (KRE ÁJK), and Prof. Dr. Ádám Boóc, Vice Dean for International and Scientific Affairs, paid an official leadership visit to the Faculty of Law of Trnava University (Právnická fakulta Trnavská univerzita v Trnave, Slovakia).

Our University was pleased to welcome a group of students from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, who had the opportunity to gain insight into our institution’s operations, international network, and academic environment during their visit.

The KRE Mentor Program is a voluntary initiative that supports international students and is open to full-time students of the university. As a mentor, you will assist 3–5 international students with their arrival and integration, help them navigate academic and administrative matters, and contribute to organizing various programs to make their stay in Hungary and at Károli more enjoyable and successful.
