KRE Faculty Members Participate in the 32nd IVR World Congress in Istanbul

Representing the Faculty of Law of Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary, Prof. Dr. Tóth J. Zoltán, Dean and Head of the Department of Legal Theory, and Dr. Ádám Miklós Balássy, Assistant Professor, participated in the 32nd World Congress of the International Association for Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy (IVR), held at Kadir Has University in Istanbul between 28 June and 3 July 2026. The congress was organized under the theme Law in the Face of the Changing Problems of the World.

Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary hosted a delegation from the Dr. Lazar Vrkatić Faculty of Law and Business Studies of the Serbian UNION University, led by Prof. Dr. Tamás Korhecz, Dean. The delegation of Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary was led by Prof. Dr. László Trócsányi, Rector. Representatives of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Law, and the Faculty of Economic, Health and Social Sciences also participated in the meeting.

The graduation ceremony ont he 26th of June was marked by a truly international spirit as fourteen students from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences received their diplomas in the English Studies and Psychology programmes. The graduates arrived in Budapest from ten different countries, further enriching the diverse academic community of Károli.

As a mentor, you will assist 3–5 international students with their arrival and integration, help them navigate academic and administrative matters, and contribute to organizing various programs to make their stay in Hungary and at Károli more enjoyable and successful.
