Limulus polyphemus (American Horseshoe Crab) is a species of Xiphosurida in the family horseshoe crabs. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN. They are native to The Nearctic, Atlantic Ocean, and The Neotropics. Individuals can grow to 60 cm.
