Desperate Mother from Gaza Pleads for Help

My name is Nevin Tayseer Muhammad Abu Hagras, and I am writing to you as a mother who is desperate and heartbroken. My family—just the three of us—has lost everything in Gaza.

Our home was destroyed in the war, and now we are forced to live in a tent, exposed to the unbearable heat. But the pain of losing my father has shattered me in ways I cannot even describe. He died because of the war, and I have not been able to see him, not even to say goodbye. His body was left to decompose, and I was denied even that last moment with him.

I have one child, my only son, and an orphan girl, and every day I am terrified that this war will take him from me too. I live in constant fear of what could happen, and all I want is to protect him, to give him a future.

The orphan girl, Kholoud, has lost her entire family, and I have taken the sole responsibility to care for her.

Please, I am begging for your help. Help me keep my son and daughter safe. Help my family survive. We cannot survive without your help.
