Refugee 101 with World Relief
April 12 // 12:45-2:45P
Jesus called us to love our neighbors, and that includes the sojourner in our midst. During this introductory workshop, we will explore the biblical call to care for the sojourner and use Acts 17 as a lens for seeing God’s global movement of people. Additionally, we’ll dive into the difference between immigrants, refugees, and asylees, clarify legal status, and provide a brief overview of the resettlement process.
Catalyze Conference with Frontiers
April 17-19
Catalyze is for followers of Jesus who want to take a step toward engaging Muslims (both here and abroad) with the gospel. It will give you practical and immediate next steps, long-term vision, and tools to frame praying, sending, and going. You will get to learn from experienced speakers and field workers and interact with other like-minded believers who yearn for God to receive glory in the Muslim world.
Packing Hope with Convoy of Hope
April 26 // 12:45-2:45P
We’re partnering with Convoy of Hope to assemble baby care and family hygiene kits that will be distributed to humanitarian and natural disaster areas to offer dignity and hope. More than soap and toothpaste, these items remind people that they are seen and valued, while also restoring dignity and providing care during difficult times.
There are opportunities for everyone to serve, and children ages 6+ are welcome to participate with their families.
