Streaming pays pennies, and touring barely covers living expenses. Institutional grants often demand or lead to artistic, political, or ideological compromises that I refuse to make.
Since I self-finance most of my album production, my Bandcamp subscription is the only sustainable way I can stay afloat and independent.
