Solutions developed towards the UN SDGs

Welcome to #herHACK

Between “curious about tech” and “no idea where to start”.

That’s exactly where #herHACK begins. We don’t need you to know how to code. We need you to show up, ask questions, and refuse to be the woman in the room who stays quiet.

Since 2021, #herHACK has connected over 500 women with real tech challenges, real mentors, and real employers across Switzerland.

Unique and female friendly

A safe and inspiring space for women in tech.

Only 16% of tech jobs are held by women, while Switzerland faces 38'700 unfilled tech positions by 2030. #herHACK inspires and empowers women and underrepresented groups to pursue a career in tech.

Unique and female friendly

Skill-building

Tackle real-world challenges in teams and develop solutions aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals — guided by experienced mentors.

Unique and female friendly

Community

Meet like-minded people, exchange ideas with mentors, and build a network that stays useful after the hackathon.

Unique and female friendly

Safe space

Inclusivity, respect, and belonging are part of the format. We focus on women and welcome everyone who supports that mission.

Testimonials

What hackers say.

I have absolutely loved the presentations and the guidance provided. Real companies were truly involved, making the work not just a fun exercise but something that might drive an impact.

Last year I was a participant, this year I am a contributing partner. What I can tell you is: participate in this hackathon, because it is quite the experience.

Fun fact
Fun fact

I've been to numerous women-in-tech events, and this was definitely one of my favourites. The atmosphere was electric — a unique, hands-on experience, especially for people with a non-tech background.

I participated at the #herHACK to experience something new, to develop new and cool ideas.

I met some great people, and I found the whole event really inspiring. I liked working on a practical project relating to (hopefully) making the world a better place.
