Thanks! The character you play (Marvin) was experimented on and when you walk through a colour blob, it mutates Marvin into a different version by changing his DNA structure. The pixelart look might not show it properly but the story behind this game features mutations.

Thanks for the feedback. I suppose I should add a portal back to the beginning again from somewhere so people can run a loop in case they missed it. For the second screenshot, there is actually a way out but it requires toggling yourself neutral and going back and forth between blue and red. This was a quick fix to at least have some option to escape but I see this is too confusing so I will rework the solution.
Thanks again!
Sorry for this! Originally, this is actually how it worked. However, when speedrunning and doing mistakes, I thought it’s better to start from the start again so I changed this last minute. To solve for this, I will add a setting where by default, it only resets current stage but when toggled it resets to the beginning.
Avoid Google in this case. I understand it can be frustrating to look for specific code snippets but it is part of the experience to have to browse through documentation and old forum posts. Of course, you cannot 100% know if code shared in a forum or even documentation was not AI generated but it’s a best effort approach I guess.
Might be a bug with Godot itself. There are a bunch of open bugs with it: https://github.com/godotengine/godot/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+windows+11+la...
Let me update the description: I am using Godot 4, which is still in Beta and not "Production Ready" yet.
