Hey, thanks for the feedback, can I ask which browser you were playing for? because I saw people report this but I can't reproduce it

I'll totally play again, ping me here on discord and I'll check it out :D

Thank you! :D It would be really cool and we did try to aim for it but time limit is hard :P

I am not really sure what libresprite contains exactly and what is the difference as I am mostly only using Aseprite but I can guarantee if you plan to spend hundreds of hours in it anyway it's totally worth getting. I create ton of plugins for aseprite for myself and they help a ton in speeding things up, so from my perspective it's worth it for this reason alone :D

This last level is my fault because I accidentally turned on the grid for this :(

We'll make sure to patch it after the jam, thank you so much for the feedback!

Yeah, we made a level builder and in the middle of the project change resolution of things so it broke a few things :( We do hope you return after the jam when we fix a lot of things and add new levels!:D

Oh I will check it in full screen again for sure!

This is such a cool game, it's a gem, well executed loop and this probably deserves to win this jam :D

The only thing I wish I could have is some sense of progression not by just waves or kills, maybe extra abilities or more classes, something like that.

Super cool!

Sorry I don't know what's going on ;-; I keep getting dropped in a truck over and over again, am I doing something wrong?

This is a very cool game idea but it lags for me very bad so it's a bit hard to play, I will avoid rating due to that since it might be on my side only. Nevertheless the game is really cool! You should check it out guys :D

That's an interesting idea that I don't think I saw anywhere else, I'd love to see a full version of this that is fleshed out and all!Upgrades and the side combat is a great idea. I wish it had some sound effects and music to go along with

I will avoid rating it because it might be an issue on my side but I fell down and my game went unresponsive and refreshing the page is not helping :(

I wish there were more levels, the concept is very cool and I see it could have even more mechanics like different traps, larger levels, time challenges and so on :D

Almost completed it, got stuck at the last flamethrowers, I think the hitbox might be too large or I might be timing it weird. Super simple cool project :D In some places I couldn't see where I was going next as the screen was cutoff so I had to guess but it was fun nevertheless!

This is such a cool and cute project, I love slow mo mechanics, the first time I didn't know about it and aiming was super hard but on the second run it really added a lot. Wish it was a full game with full city and level ups and more challenges! :D

Thanks, it was a little bit rushed by the end as we had about half the time of the jam to complete them, appreciate the feedback!

Thanks, I got fed up with my animations being setup wrong by the team so now they have no excuse! Share with your team too!!

This is now solved, closing.

Hey, thanks for the comment. It is actually a little bit of both, demo was supposed to end there but it's not transitioning to the finished screen for some reason sometimes. We've fixed it in our current version but also keep on working on new and much bigger version of the game:D

Of course! Happy playing :D

Hey, can you send over an example of what you mean perhaps?

There should be 1 bomb in every colour region which also means there is only 1 per column and row

If you eliminated a bomb in a region, the remaining fields in the region will be 100% bomb free.

I marked the Bomb there, so the fields marked S are safe

Hey!

We're expanding Deal? from a game jam preview into a full chapter-based game with a more open world structure. Currently working on Chapter 1 and looking for someone to help shape the writing.

It's a dark choice-driven narrative -- morally grey decisions, slow dread, consequences that stack up. Text does a lot of the work here so the writing matters.

What you'd be writing

- branching dialogue and choices

- story beats and multiple endings

- atmospheric descriptions

What we're looking for

- something you've written before (game, fanfic, Twine, anything)

- comfortable with slow, creeping tone and moral ambiguity

- reliable -- hobby project but we want to finish it

No pay, passion project only. If it sells we can revisit.

Please only reach out if you're ready to commit your time on a regular basis to work on this. We will only reply on discord and not in this thread.
DM with a sample (discord @ .maciaz) and we'll go from there

I never saw trees drawn this way, this is so interesting. btw I love your layout of this page don't mind if I borrow it as inspiration :>

These are so cool!! What was your inspiration for this? :D

If you have requests on new features - post here.

If you encounter any bugs, post them here

Hey! Just wanted to clarify with you: if I put my UV map in there that I created somewhere else, it 'puts it together' or like I can put it together for a full object and it generates a rotated sprite sheet?

Yes, just during a jam, it's more of a demo for a full game, I guess we could label it this way.

Narrator is Rick from RichardVoices, professional voice over actor. I think he is mostly on Fiverr. I think working on those lines for him might've took us more time than needed haha

Thank you so much for the great feedback and playing our game! We did want to remove information from choices, we just didn't manage to make it in time during the jam. We have a lot of ideas and features for a 'fuller' release of this game and also a lot of your ideas are aligning with what we actually intend to do! (And more!)

In our free time we will be working on fixing all the found bugs and implementing even more things and include even more writing :D

The game doesn't work for me the same way it's described in the comments, cannot move with WASD and can only move by clicking forward.Only 1/4 of the screen is visible because something is covering the screen. Overall feeling is alright but it feels a bit generic, despite the concept not being that bad.

I agree and hiding penalties is the original idea, we just didn't have enough time at the end but thank you for confirming that our initial design was right! :D The same goes with choices, we planned for a lot more but there's only so much we can do in a week. We'll fix all the mentions people had after the jam ends!

I think it might've done better design wise but seems pretty solid and I think with enough polish it has great potential :D

Won at Wave 14, that was a really well presented concept, I'd play a full version!

That is a fairly cool concept, not new but feels fresh :D I see its potential but I do agree with some comments here as well

Thanks for letting me know! If you ever would like to try again, you might want to check downloadable versions we uploaded?

Web versions are usually harder to narrow down since there are so many browsersand versions that can go wrong :/

That is really weird, I see people say Skip doesn't work or picking path but when I launch it it's fine :( Can I ask how you played? I'd like to troubleshoot it to get it to working condition, like which version and browser? Thank you for the feedback as well!

Haven't seen this theme in a while! Simple and enjoyable. I do like the idea of having another perspective. It would also probably work very well with more than 2 characters!

Very sinple well executed puzzle game!

This is a very interesting concept, for such a short time you made a satisfying mechanic and with enough polish I see a big potential. Well done!

I think doing the cutouts was a very creative choice, not often you see something like this. Something like a game-collage vibe would be cool for sure

That's a really interesting idea, I'd like to see how that unfolds further!
