As a college student, William Lawrence founded the nation's first campus fossil fuel divestment campaign; and went on to co-found THE Sunrise Movement, organizing thousands of young people across the country in support of a Green New Deal. He’s also put his body on the line to protest pipeline projects — in fact, his arrest record looks a lot like Jane’s.
As with many progressive, pro-planet candidates Will’s in a tough primary that will determine who goes on to FLIP this now-Red seat blue.
