Visual researcher, cinematographer & digital product designer

I work across film, research and digital tools to make complex human processes visible, understandable and usable — from cinematography and documentary work to digital products for creative, educational and operational workflows.

  • I turn complex workflows into clear visual, narrative and interactive systems. My work combines anthropological observation, cinematography, UX thinking and practical prototyping.

  • I map how people work, what information they need, and where processes break down. Then I translate those findings into concrete outputs: films, case studies, prototypes, interfaces, presentations or documentation systems.

  • I can support applied design, research-creation and institutional projects through visual research, audiovisual documentation, case-study development, UX structure, digital prototyping and strategic communication. I am especially interested in projects where image, social context, technology and real-world workflows come together.

Alongside my audiovisual work, I design and prototype digital tools for real-world workflows, helping film crews, educational institutions and small businesses organize information, make decisions and work with more clarity.

Anthropologist from Universidad de los Andes and cinematographer with a Master’s in Cinematography from TAI Arts, Madrid.

My audiovisual practice is rooted in observation and visual storytelling. I use light, framing and rhythm to understand people, places and emotional situations across fiction, documentary, commercial work and institutional projects.

Over the past seven years, I have worked as a gaffer, editor and Director of Photography across 20+ short films, several videoclips, a feature documentary and commercial projects for clients such as Spotify Colombia, Universidad de los Andes and FESCOL.

This experience now informs my work in design and digital tools: observing real workflows, identifying what gets lost, and translating complexity into clearer visual, narrative and interactive systems.
