It’s insufferable girl hours.
I love it when I watch a movie and it’s apparent the writer/director just loves the premise they came up with.
Lots of laughs.
It’s essay time - but who’s surprised? I’ve been waiting for this movie for a damn minute, and it did not disappoint.
This movie was absolutely brilliant. The acting, pacing, camera work, and everything worked so seamlessly together to put the audience exactly where everyone involved in the production was in 1975. I love it when there’s real time within the media, and the constant reminder to both Lorne and the audience of how little time they had left served…
What the fuck? This movie was so good. Yes, the “time loop” trope has been done a million times, but the benefit of the character’s attitudes towards it, the comedic elements, and the overarching storyline really resonated with me.
I appreciated how this movie explored themes of existentialism and was comedic throughout, and had such a perfect balance of both. So so good.
And of course, Andy samberg killed as usual. JK Simmons killed as usual. Great movie.
