Well, I love Jennifer Lawrence as an actress....
But this movie was just... not good.

Premise could have made it an ok comedy... But it wasn't even that funny.

It was too... empty. And a bit vulgar, when it comes to the acting, the characters, the overall attempt at a plot...

Unfortunately, this is a fail for me

I didn't think or know if I'd like this movie, simply because the hype for the book was so big and was all over the place....

But my heart melted and swooned and I absolutely adored it!!

It's a great love story, full of hope, laughter and perseverance.

Absolutely recommend it!!

Saw this many years ago, and this a more modern take on the premise of "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie.

Wedding guests arrive in Harper's Island, most of them with secrets in their past.
And now the past is coming back for them, one by one.

It's a constant guessing mystery/thriller/horror to find the answers and the culprit(s)... And it is very much worth it!

This is a beautiful story, intense, heartbreaking and breathtaking.

An odd friendship/partnership turns into a life-long bond, during a time where society was still very much against their circumstances (it still is in today's day and age... but in the 60's it definitely was a 'problem')

If you have never watched this, then please do.

One of my all time favourite movies and I believe a must watch for everyone.
