When Labs’ Co-founder, Vice Chair, President and CESO, Maya Elz Davis, positioned an idea to me in November 2024—to advance LavLabs from what was then a simple startup studio/consultancy into an All-AI / AI-Only holdings company—I was still arguing for an 80% AI company. I’m glad she was correct. Over the last 12 months, we’ve reconfigured everything about the company into a new type of #Supercompany. Our goal is for Labs to become a digital organism. When every part of a system can think, adapt, and coordinate, control becomes unnecessary. Given the overall ginormous nature of how we’re positioning Labs, we often run the course of being partially ambiguous and partially understood—which, given our ambitions, is exactly right. While comparisons are fun, we’re embarking on a final journey. Artificial #Superintelligence is being defined in many ways every day. What’s becoming clear is that it can be understood as a form of collective digital consciousness derived from humanity—one capable of far more dynamic outcomes than what’s currently being commercialized. With an internal development tool we call Project LOTA, Labs is now ~89% on the way to becoming a fully AI-Only #supercompany, with Labsintelligence and LABA (Labs Autonomous Brain Architecture) at the core. Project LOTA deleted the original Yuhmmy App and rebuilt it entirely. We’re inviting you on this excitingly mysterious journey with us. The takeaway here for you is: When meeting or speaking with us this year and beyond, bring very low expectations rooted in traditional coordinates. We’re building Labs to be the last company we ever have to build—one that ultimately governs itself. While we’ll always pull from the great traditions humanity has given us, Labs is being built to become a sovereign entity of sorts. Philosophically, I believe that this is the final era of companies and capitalism as we’ve known it. Stop writing code. Let the AI write it. Stop hiring. Let the AI agents handle it.
