I had a fantastic experience with Extra Mile Movers, and I want to specifically recognize Prince and Jackson for the outstanding job they did.

Both of them were extremely professional from start to finish. They showed up promptly, took the time to fully assess the space before moving anything, and carefully planned how to maneuver the items through the house. Their attention to detail really showed.

They moved everything safely and efficiently without a single scratch or dent anywhere in the home. That level of care and precision is not something you always see, and I truly appreciated it.

Prince and Jackson were also very respectful, congenial, and just genuinely upstanding guys. You can tell they take pride in their work and treat your home and belongings with real consideration.

I’m sharing this review to provide clarity for others. The owner used a torque impact drill on fine thread hardware, which is not recommended and can cause damage.

While professional experience is valuable, doubling down on an incorrect practice does not change the fact that it can damage a client’s equipment. Being a professional mover or having moved gyms before does not automatically make a method correct. Best practices and manufacturer guidelines exist for a reason.

A torque impact wrench should not be used on exercise equipment unless explicitly stated in the manual. Treadmills do not qualify for this. This is exactly why hand tools are recommended, to avoid stripping or damaging fragile hardware.

I hope this helps others make an informed decision when choosing a company.

I have a question for the owner as well: what plastic components were you referring to?

Michael and Prince did a great job moving our items, they had to travel 3 hours each way, and they were ready to work when they got here.

Michael and Prince were not provided enough floor coverings, so we had to improvise to protect our freshly cleaned floors and carpet.

They did their best to minimize the tracking of dirt into the house, they were super professional and took extra care to make sure my wife was happy.
