I'm  Charito
Creating art serves as my primary means of self-expression and a powerful tool for navigating life's challenges. Through the act of creation, I find solace, healing, and transformation. Collage emerged as my chosen medium, a nostalgic return to the joy of childhood scrapbooking and journaling. This technique, ingrained in my earliest memories, became a sanctuary where I could weave together fragments of my past and present.
As time passed, I felt drawn to surrealism, captivated by its ability to unlock the depths of the subconscious mind. Guided by mentors, I learned to tap into my imagination and explore the realms of the unreal. Often, creation arises not from a specific thought, but from an innate urge to give form to the ineffable.
In my artistic journey, futuristic, sci-fi, and fantasy themes reign supreme. These imaginative landscapes transport me to worlds beyond the the confines of reality, offering a refuge from the mundane and a gateway to boundless possibility.
