One day during a deep depression, I had an epiphany while with my dog, Oliver. I remember eating a protein bar and sipping on some water when I glanced over to see him looking me in the eyes, and I remember thinking “Maybe this is much simpler than I’ve realized. My basic needs are met when I have water, nutrition, and companionship. I am blessed.” After much thought and introspection, I asked myself:

Why do we tend to over complicate our lives so much?

I have known for a long time that my calling in life was to help people in some way, shape, or form. This led me to have a successful career in the non-profit sector, with consistent experience of more than 10 years in the training & development and career services industries.

In 2017, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Peer Counseling, and in 2022, I earned my Master's degree in Leadership.
