At what age can my child join cadets

Students between the ages of 12 - 19 can register.

Are there cadet units at all schools?

No. There are units at 76 schools around Trinidad and Tobago

Is there a cost to register?

There is no cost attached to registration or enrollment.

Can someone get into the Defence Force from cadets?

No. There is no direct route or guaranteed entry into the Defence Force from the Cadet Force.

What are the training days for cadets?

Training days vary by the various Units, Stations or Watches but are typically after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays or on Saturdays
