WHM is founded on the belief that nature provides a profound backdrop for experiencing God’s presence, grace, and mercy. Psalm 121:1-2 says, “I lift my eyes to the mountains — where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Even in the vast wilderness, we are never alone. Our help, our strength, and our hope come from the Lord, who created all that surrounds us. Our mission is to offer a safe space where individuals can find solace, strength, and community. We recognize the challenges posed by depression, anxiety, and addiction, and we are committed to providing a supportive environment that fosters mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. WHM is dedicated to doing everything for the glory of God. Our community activities are designed not only to enjoy the great outdoors, but also to deepen our relationship with Christ and each other.
