LINO BENITO BATTANI aka LINO B DEEP was born in Sassari,iTALY and  immigrated to South Africa with parents when he was 7 years old.
LINO B Deep  started out as mobile DJ and significantly progressed to the club scene around 1992.
Large scale events played over the years in South Africa and abroad include MINISTRY OF SOUND GOLD TOUR(mark moore ,s-express and cj macintosh),H2o wild waters(DEADMAU5), MOTHER RAVES, YFM 1ST BIRTHDAY BASH Feat.LiL LOUIE VEGA....to name but a few.
Over the years he has played at all the top CLUBS around in and around africa,toured the coast line from DURBAN all the way up to the tip of MOZAMBIQUE promoting his mixed compilations to which he has seven mixed compilations to his credit,Maximum House Ep2, IN The HOUSE 2,IN THE HOUSE 3,DJ KNOCKOUT,DEFINITIVE SOUNDS OF LINO B,FULL THROTTLE selection 1.
LINO B DEEP has been a pioneer in the Deep house movement in South africa  as far as  having a residient slot on YFM RADIO with PHAT JOE and thereafter moving to METRO FM with CHILLI M.
He has shared the stage  with the likes of CARL COX,Li LOUIE VEGA,BOY GEORGE,Deadmau5,DJ GRAZE,OSUNLADE,MARK FISAN,STIMMING and the list goes on...
LINO B DEEP has a proven that he is a forced to be reckoned with by producing his own music and has released them on BEAT PORT .COM and IMMORAL MUSIC 2.
