Active since the mid-90s, Kalumet has witnessed the evolution of trance over decades. Whether behind the decks or playing live, a Kalumet set is never just music, it’s a psychedelic tale. He also has serious releases on respectable imprints, such as Oslated, Navigare Audio, Lotus Parable, Space Textures and many more.

Long before dance floors, it all started with a guitar in the late ’80s, followed by bass, and a lifetime obsession with sound. His musical universe stretches from post-punk and funk to acid, early techno, experimental electronica, jazz, and traditional folk music from around the world. That wide-open culture is exactly what shaped his free-form fusion style, organic, playful, and trippy.

Under names like Kalumet, Ork Monk, Trevor McGregor, or Tiger Punch, he’s released over a hundred tracks and played in some unexpected places, from cinemas and laundries to catacombs, jungles, beaches, and legendary festivals like Ozora, Boom, and Lost Theory.

We are glad to present the debut album from an artist within the Organic Signs family: @solmadj . One year ago, the French artist planted the seed of this sonic journey with his set at The Memoir by Hypnus Records. Now, that seed has fully blossomed, unveiling a collection of new creations. Eight tracks that define his sonic universe, where DnB, halftime, and tribe intertwine in an atmosphere of hypnotic textures and pulsating synths.

The journey begins with Wetlands, drawing us into a mist-laden landscape where solitary birds glide through the sky and the dense humidity clings to every breath. In the dim light, a deep, enveloping sound spreads through the air, merging with electrified gusts of wind. As we move forward, distant echoes of other life forms emerge, thriving in the space between water and earth.

The first heartbeats stir in Mud. Continuing the path set by its predecessor while subtly layering new elements, the track immerses us in mystical soundscapes, unlocking portals to uncharted dimensions. Percussive fragments, scattered across the stereo field, begin to surface tentatively, paving the way for Clay, where the hypnotic progression deepens.

With Spores, the rhythm evolves into 4x4, maintaining the ethereal essence that has permeated the album from the start. Percussion elements phase in and out, leading seamlessly into Trimitic, a stripped-down yet profound exploration of minimalist Tribe.

The album builds in intensity, reaching its peak with Fungal Network, an electrifying burst of energy crafted to set the dancefloor ablaze. Then, The Consciousness of Plants slows the pace once more, introducing a whispering voice and a synth that oscillates fluidly, pulling us into its meditative sway.

The journey culminates with Reset, where the tempo eases, and the narrative comes full circle. The echoes of birds return, this time illuminated by the clarity of a new dawn. With Liquid DnB rhythms and textures, Solma concludes his debut album with a farewell that lingers in the mind, resonating long after the final note fades.

Born and raised away from the metropolitan environment, AWHM originated from the Australian capital of Canberra - before embarking on a permanent migration to Berlin in 2019 where he has embraced the opportunity to refine his sonic direction. Active since the mid-90s, Kalumet has witnessed the evolution of trance over decades. Whether behind the decks or playing live, a Kalumet set is never just music, it’s a psychedelic tale. He also has serious releases on respectable imprints, such as Oslated, Navigare Audio, Lotus Parable, Space Textures and many more.

Long before dance floors, it all started with a guitar in the late ’80s, followed by bass, and a lifetime obsession with sound. His musical universe stretches from post-punk and funk to acid, early techno, experimental electronica, jazz, and traditional folk music from around the world. That wide-open culture is exactly what shaped his free-form fusion style, organic, playful, and trippy.

A journey through shifting states and suspended moments, Faster Through Time unfolds from deep, meditative downtempo into bass-driven rhythms and broken grooves. Across four tracks—Cryosphere, Maiga, Iridescence, and Rex Virginum—ethereal textures, organic percussion, and evocative ethnic vocals create a richly immersive sonic narrative.

Marking the return of AJO, also known as Kalocain—one of the label’s own artists—this EP is both a statement and a voyage: an intricate, genre-blurring work that bridges introspection and movement, memory and momentum. The release also features a debut from French artist Aawadh, who delivers a deep, hypnotic techno reinterpretation of Cryosphere, adding a powerful new dimension to the collection.

Ebbs & Flows presents 'Phase Weather', a 19-track VA exploring the shifting pressure, texture and atmosphere of contemporary underground psychedelia.

Moving through half-time weight, broken trance, deep drone, mental tribe rhythms and experimental bass structures, the compilation gathers artists working across the edges of club music and altered listening. Rather than following a fixed line, Phase Weather moves like a change in conditions: low pressure, humid space, distorted signals, hidden landscapes and unstable inner states passing through the system.

Across the release, organic percussion meets heavy low-end movement, ritualistic tones dissolve into high-tempo patterns, and controlled structures give way to intuition, decay and atmosphere. There is a constant sense of transformation here - sound emerging from silence, rhythm folding into texture, and familiar forms gradually slipping out of shape.

With Phase Weather, Ebbs & Flows offers a collection built on subtle tension, deep listening and system-minded experimentation, where each track feels less like a destination and more like a shift in the room.
