We’ve listened closely to our community and we’re thrilled to reveal that we’ve kept the soul of A0K1VERSE intact: NO RENEWAL MODEL for Passports!

What does this mean for you?

• We’ll be keeping the same methodology for reward redemptions. In order to receive additional benefits, simply upgrade your Passport to a new level!
• Enjoy full privileges aligned with your Passport tier as soon as you reach that level.
• We’ve added a new Season 2 icon to all Passports!

Our commitment to sustainability has led us to rework Season 2 rewards, some of which you all had the opportunity to enjoy this summer. Remember our 30 day sneak peeks of Season 2 live show ticket rewards and merchandise discounts? That was just the beginning!

We’re excited to announce the burn details for the Prizmatic Rift and you do not want to miss it.

Prizmatic Nova features a new composition made by Steve Aoki and an entirely new design by 3D artist Reuko. The Prizmatic Nova is a rare sight, only occurring when multiple Rifts are in alignment with the cosmic center. The Nova pulsates powerful spectral bursts of energy at the edge of The Brink, revealing a glimpse of the first moments of the A0K1VERSE.

These Prizmatic Shards are mystical, charged structures that exist within the A0K1VERSE. They are powerful remnants scattered across the cosmos, left over from the formation of the A0K1VERSE.

In celebration of A0K1VERSE’s one year anniversary, all holders of a Prizmatic Rift will be able to burn the NFT to receive a Prizmatic Nova. Details on how to burn are listed below:

The piece features a wide spectrum of custom colors reminiscent of the cosmos, uniquely designed realms, and unique ethereal music timed perfectly to the movement of the collection’s main design form, known as a Shard. GM GM A0K1VERSE citizens! We are so proud to announce that the A0K1VERSE is one year old today…and what a year it’s been!

We launched on February 22, 2022, opening our digital doors to all Steve Aoki fans far and wide. Joining the A0K1VERSE has brought all holders closer to Steve Aoki’s global universe, allowed access to amazing collaborations, taken us (virtually) to Amnesia Ibiza to party with Steve 🪩and given the community our own SkyPod neighborhood within oncyber!

Just some of the amazing companies and communities that we’ve collaborated with over the last year are Time Magazine, Gala Games, Snoop Dogg, Deadfellaz, Goblintown, The Sandbox, oncyber, Nickelodeon/Recur…the list goes on!

We’ve thrown some unforgettable IRL events at NFT LA, Veecon and NFT.NYC and have given away some fantastic merch and physical items. Many lucky community members even received an Aoki x BTS animated gold plaque celebrating 500k sales of the single “Waste It On Me” in the U.S., an AV collaboration with Infinite Objects that marks the first time that a gold record plaque has been animated!

With such an amazing Season One behind us, Season Two of A0K1VERSE is going to be a banger! So without further ado, we give you the roadmap for Season Two of A0K1VERSE rewards! As always, please keep in mind that there will be many more rewards that aren’t on this list, since we love giving the community additional rewards whenever an amazing opportunity arises!

That’s right…ALL Passport holders are now receiving free tickets to Steve Aoki shows and those who already receive free ticket rewards will be given much more! Steve loves seeing AV Passport holders in the wild.

But, it turns out that it is possible to be too good at something, as we found out once we realized that most of our community has diamond hands! It’s incredible to know that our community is so dedicated and supportive, but that means that we’ve had to make some pivots in terms of sustainability. As we look to further expand the A0K1VERSE community and continue to onboard web2 fans, we are making some changes that will enable us to continue to provide the value that our fantastic holders have come to expect.

Starting in late March / early April, A0K1VERSE holders will now need to pay a small renewal fee each season per Passport in order for that Passport to be eligible for each season of rewards. Given the recent fluctuations in both the NFT space and the USD price of ETH since the start of last year’s bear market, switching to a subscription model will allow us to continue to provide the rewards that our holders anticipate and appreciate, while also securing longevity for the project.

This new renewal fee will take some time to implement (roughly 30–45 days) so in the meantime we’re giving all of our OG holders an anniversary gift; within the next couple of weeks we will be releasing an open edition of Aoki x Reuko designed NFTs, based on the incredible creations that they developed when working with our very own Phantom and Prizm holders to create their 1 of 1 NFT rewards. We thought the designs were so fantastic that we wanted everyone in the community to have the opportunity to join, so we’re making some additional designs into a free mint for every current AV Passport holder (it will also be for sale at 0.02 ETH to the public)!

There will also be a burn mechanism for these open editions but we don’t want to give away everything just yet!

We are SO excited to jump into Season Two and release the upcoming free mint open edition as a big THANK YOU to all of our OG holders who have been with A0K1VERSE on this crazy ride over the last year. We couldn’t have done it without you and we can’t wait to see what Season Two brings!

It’s officially the holiday season! We’ve had an extremely fun and jam packed year with amazing collaborations and activations. We collaborated with DraftKings, Time Magazine, Gala Games, Nickelodeon (Recur), The SandBox and Oncyber just to name a few. We have had amazing A0K1VERSE parties at NFT LA, Veecon, and NFT.NYC!

December 14th, 3PM — Holiday Character X Statue Claim

As a token of appreciation for our A0K1VERSE Passport holders. We have prepared Character X Statues to showcase across the A0K1VERSE Sky Pods and other GLB supporting metaverse platforms! These beautiful statues are designed by our friends at Inferstudio. You will be able to enter Steve’s Sky Pod and claim your Character X Statue courtesy of our partners at OnCyber and Manifold.

There are 3 tiers of Character X Statue designs:

Character X: Silicon claimable by Infrared and Electric Green
This is the silicon edition of Steve Aoki’s Character X. The body of this edition is rendered in a hot pink shade of smooth, matte silicon, with gold features on the tongue, teeth, and brows, and shining waves of hair in intensifying gradients of pink.

Character X: Jade claimable by Neon Blue and Ultraviolet
This is the jade edition of Steve Aoki’s Character X, rendered in polished green stone. The body of this edition is a swirl of darker hues; green, turquoise, even a hint of purple. Lighter stone accents the hands and feet. The tongue, teeth, and brows are rendered in a classic jade green, while the hair waves ascend from polished green roots to bright — almost white — tips.

Character X: Bubble claimable by Phantom and Prizm
This is the bubble edition of Steve Aoki’s Character X. The body of this edition is an iridescent swirl of many colors, its polished surface appearing metallic and almost oiled, as if painted with the sheen of rainbows seen through the thin film of soap bubbles. The tongue, teeth, and brows are tinted gold, while the waves of hair are candy bright hues of purple and turquoise.

Supply and Minting
A snapshot will be taken of all A0K1VERSE passport holders on December 12th, 2022. Starting on December 14th, 2022 at 3PM PT you will be able to claim your Character X statue within Steve’s Sky Pod on Oncyber.io. Choose your Passport level accordingly prior to the snapshot as this is a one time claim and you will not be able to upgrade your statue at a later date. The Sky Pod bath is a large basin and shower, with a plinth and towel rail based on the bathtub from Steve Aoki’s Las Vegas house. Rendered as a tinted granite, the hues of this edition of the Sky Pod bath are designed to match the interior tones of each A0K1VERSE Sky Pod.

Sky Pod Kitchen Island:

The kitchen island is a solid marble countertop detailed with faceted geometry. It is modeled on the bespoke bench from the kitchen in Steve Aoki’s Las Vegas residence. Its polished surface is tinted to match the interior tones of each A0K1VERSE Sky Pod.

Introducing Infrared Sky Pods:

A0K1VERSE created the Sky Pods in collaboration with InferStudio & oncyber. The pods represent our next step in the A0K1 metaverse and your home in the metaverse. Each pod can be used to display art, listen to music, and gather with friends. These are just some suggestions but the possibilities are up to you!

The Infrared Sky Pod features a gallery ring with room to display 17 works, a private bedroom, living space and a music studio inspired by Steve Aoki’s own mixing room. There is a walk-around closet with space for fashion NFTs (or future digital wearables), and artworks can also be displayed on the walls and floors of each room within the pod. Infrared Sky Pods are the first, and most grounded, architectures in a sliding scale of weightlessness, with pods floating higher into the atmosphere with each ascending A0K1VERSE Passport level.

The Neon Blue Sky Pod features a gallery ring with room to display 25 works, a concealed pool deck and a spacious interior with a music studio inspired by Steve Aoki’s own mixing room. Neon Blue pods feature an expansive wardrobe area for the display of fashion NFTs or digital wearables, and living spaces that are generously sized with abundant room along walls, floor, and shelves for additional artwork display. Blue sub-surface scattering materials bring an ice-like translucency to interior spaces.

With these materials we introduce the concept that — in virtual worlds — it is the computational complexity of digital rendering rather than physical properties that determines material rarity and value. The Neon Blue pods are the third iteration on the sliding scale of weightlessness, with pods floating higher into the atmosphere with each ascending A0K1VERSE Passport level.
