Now I’ve been wanting to dye my hair red for years. Since before Covid, actually. But I’ve always been to scared to do it. And it doesn’t seem like that big a deal right? Still, for some reason, it took me 5 years to just dye my hair. That is a long time, especially considering how easy it was to finally do it.

And so, I realised the cultural zeitgeist behind the Hair Theory is just people finally deciding to do what they’re scared of, as a collective. It’s 20-year-olds like me who are unhappy with their jobs, struggling to pay rent, living in isolating cities, finally reaching their boiling point and saying: “Right, this is it. I’m going to change my hair”. Because we have nothing else to lose, basically.

And now, with my new red hair, I just feel so liberated, and so powerful, that I could easily become the president. So let this video be your driving force to do it — do what you’re scared of, and your new hair will take care of the rest.
