There’s a moment many people reach that they don’t talk about openly. Your life looks fine. Maybe even successful. But something feels off. You’re going through the motions, doing what makes sense. Are you following path that once felt right and left feeling empty?

Don’t gaslight yourself by thinking you should just be more grateful or try harder. I was there. I lost the enthusiasm for a career that I once adored, but I just kept going because it was meaningful work and I was making millions, employing dozens, and improving the lives of thousands of people around the world. Nonetheless, I ceased being excited to get out of bed and make my contribution anymore, and I didn’t know quite what had changed.

I now know that I was living out of alignment. Like many of my beloved houseplants, I had outgrown my cozy old container.

Over the course of a couple of decades, I seamlessly evolved into a new version of myself who was called to offer more into the world. My comfort zone needed expansion, so my world was thrown into disarray. Everything from my career field to my health was up in the air and all I could do was breathe and flow like water. I could have catastrophized it, but I chose my own peace. My friends, agents, and associates keep asking me to share the method to my sanity, so I have put together a new offering to help others navigate their own becoming.

Maybe your story is less dramatic than a divorce, the disillusion of a multimillion dollar legacy, and a near-death medical crisis. Perhaps you feel like you just haven’t figured it out yet. Misalignment can happen at any life stage. I am here to tell you that you are not failing. You’ve likely adapted to an unrelenting world. That is what most of us do to survive.

Maybe you’ve outgrown your current circumstances. You probably made decisions based on what was expected, what was available, or what felt safe. I’m guessing you also learned how to function in environments that didn’t fully reflect who you are. And it worked — for a while.

You are feeling into the part of you that knows there is another way to live and work — one that actually fits. But you can’t access that clarity by forcing answers. You access it by reconnecting. You don’t course correct all at once, nor do you do it perfectly. Just start to notice where you feel disconnected, and what feels forced, heavy, or misaligned. Like me, you might be overriding critical feedback trying to emerge from deep within you.
