The year 2023 was an interesting year for the broader crypto space and specifically for the Dojima Network ecosystem. A lot of advancement and development were achieved during the course of the year and we are still in the process of the final push to a reliable, seamless cross-chain and omnichain deployment.

In this 2023 review, we will be doing a recap of what transpired in the Dojima Network space, what we are currently working on and our plans for 2024. To begin, we will emphasize what the Dojima Network is all about and what we are building.

Dojima Network is an omnichain Layer 1 – a platform that seamlessly integrates the entire web3 ecosystem onto one unified layer, thereby empowering developers to craft and deploy ground-breaking applications. The Dojima Network omnichain service includes but not limited to Gaming, Content Sharing, IoT integrations, Supply Chain Management, Remittance Services, NFT Marketplace, Identity Verification, Oracle Services, Healthcare Records, Energy Trading, Decentralized Identity, Tokenization Platform, Voting and Governance, Non-profit fundraising, Prediction Market, Educational Dapps, Insurance Platforms, and Social Networks. DOJIMA FAAS: First in the list was the introduction of the Dojima FAAS (Functionality as a Service). This service allows developers and enthusiasts with little or no knowledge of blockchain technology to develop and deploy DApps seamlessly. This functionality of the network helps to create an account, set gas rate for transactions, signing transactions, viewing transaction history, submitting transaction, etc.

DOJIMA CHAIN BLOCK EXPLORER: This was also introduced during the first quarter of the year and it functions as a search engine that enable users to search for Dojima transactions on the Dojima Network.

DOJIMA ENDPOINTS INCLUSION: As we prepared to roll out our testnet, we announced the inclusion of supported network endpoints into the network and also the approach to request for Dojima and Hermes chain faucet tokens for testnet.

EVENTS TO HIGHLIGHT

The crypto space is a beehive of activities and events. 2023 was a year of connecting dots across the globe. DojimaNetwork made waves from Bengaluru’s W3 Summit to Singapore’s Cosmocon.

· Arweave India Meet up — Our team attended the Arweave event in November at the Social 3 Club, Bengalore, India. It was an interesting session as we met with leading projects in the crypto space and had the opportunity to Network for a better collaboration going forward.

· Meet up with Gains Associates and YouMeme Team in Goa — This was an interesting event and we had the opportunity to relate with leading figures in the blockchain space. This really shaped some of our event in 2023.

· Omnichain Mixer — This event was social and fun in nature as it afford us the opportunity to meet with community members, developers, crypto enthusiasts for drinks, dancing and networking. It was held in Whitefield, Bengaluru, India.

· Web 3 Carnival, Bengalore, India — The team led by our founder, Akhil Reddy, participated in this event both as an attendees and as a panelist. We were able to promote the Dojima brand while also giving an update into our developmental progress of Dojima Network.

CAMPAIGNS & CONTEST

AIRDROP CAMPAIGN: February 2023 came with some lovely giveaways as we announced the commencement of our airdrop campaign. With this campaign, our community were rewarded for their effort in the development of the community and the network at large.

MEME CONTEST: Also in February we organized a meme contest in partnership with YouMeme to give an opportunity to the community to create funny and insightful memes and win a prize money of $200. This contest climaxed on the 17th of February with three winners sharing the prize money

SECOND AIRDROP CAMPAIGN: Another airdrop campaign was announced by the team in April. Just like the first campaign, our intention was to grow and reward our community members with a little token for their tireless effort. This airdrop campaign came to a close in July.

DOJIMA TOKEN AIRDROP: This airdrop was primarily rolled oit to reward participants with the Dojima token after TGE and 2,000 participants were scheduled to benefit from this airdrop after our token generation event during mainnet.

DOJIMA NETWORK AMBASSADOR’S PROGRAMME: The ambassador campaign was primarily for all interested participants who are interested in promoting the Dojima brand and product in their different social channels. DOJIMA NETWORK’S BEYOND BLOCKCHAIN PODCAST: This was an initiative of the team who thought it wise to engage different partnering projects and other projects in the crypto space to discuss their project development and how it is solving issues in the blockchain and crypto space. We have hosted 5 episodes so far in 2023 and we will be hosting more project in 2024. Projects and partners that have been featured are Kleo network, YouMeme, Gains Associates, SparkFi, and Team Dojinized.

ANOTHER MEME CONTEST WITH YOUMEME: We rolled out the second meme contest for 2023 in October. Just like the first contest, we partnered with YouMeme to give an opportunity to community members and enthusiasts to create funny and promoting memes for Dojima Network. The contest came to a close on the 11th of October 2023.

JOINT GLEAM CAMPAIGN: In November 2023, we started organizing a series of joint gleam campaign with different partners. The intention was to promote and grow and community, while rewarding our community members for participating in the campaign. Below are the joint gleam campaign we have had in 2023:

Apart from our hard working team, the community plays an important role in our development and advancement. Hence, we regularly create and organize community events in 2023 just as we have been doing since inception with the intent of engaging our community, and providing them with updates on the backend development of the network.

These events came in different forms. They include:

The above round up shows that there was no short of events, major announcements, campaigns and engagements in 2023. If you can recur, in our 2022 project review earlier in 2023, we promised a very busy 2023 for the Dojima Network team and the community. We didn’t fall short of that pronouncements. We hit major milestones which are significant to the development and roll up of our cross-chain infrastructure. But your guess is as good as ours, we are not stopping here. The development continues. We are energized going into 2024. We have laid out plans for the year 2024, and it promises to be an even interesting year like 2023 and even more.

YEAR 2024: WHAT ARE OUR PLANS 🤔

COMMUNITY GROWTH AND ENGAGEMENTS: Our community holds a great place in our ecosystem and as thus we will continue, just as the previous years, to grow our community and organize different events and campaigns to engage the community. We will leverage different forms of community events to keep our community engaged and informed with the recent updates in the network.

MORE PARTNERSHIPS: There are more partnerships in the offing. As we expand our network reach, we shall be entering into new partnerships with projects that shares our visions and are interested to partake in the cross-chain infrastructure of the Dojima Network.

EVENTS AND CAMPAIGNS: Just as in 2023, we will continue attending different blockchain and crypto events, while also leveraging the contacts and networks we met during previous events. On top of that, our Dojima Network’s Beyond Blockchain podcast will play a significant role in discussion with different projects on the aspect of their development and also their deployment onto the Dojima Network.

DEVELOPMENT, UPGRADES AND MORE DEVELOPMENT: one of our intention going into 2024 is to continue developing the network. We are poised to develop the network into a fully functional, efficient, and secure cross-chain and omni-chain platform.

TEAM EXPANSION: As we approach mainnet launch, we are also intentional about expanding our team. Though this is based on need and requirement, it calls for a reliable team with a 24 hours reach and quality interactions and customer service.

GOING MAINNET: We are closer to mainnet launch than ever before. Truth be told, we are finalizing the workings of the Dojima Network cross-chain infrastructure with the inputs from the testnet and stagenet phases. The mainnet launch will be the significant stride in our ecosystem. Kindly keep your eyes peeled for this announcement as we go into 2024.

DOJIMA NETWORK ENGAGEMENT & ACTIVITIES IN SEPTEMBER 2022

1. DOJIMA’S PRESENCE AT TOKEN 2049
As part of our intention to attract users, developers and investors into the network, the Dojima founders took part in the Token 2049 crypto conference held in Singapore. This is a periodic conference usually held in London and Singapore. It affords crypto enthusiast, developers, media, founders, investors, and the likes to gather and discuss the happenings in the crypto space and chart a forward for the industry. We look forward to participating in future conferences of such capacity.

2. OPERATIONS AND MARKETING:
The Operations and Marketing department has been working relentlessly to promote the Dojima project. This is obvious as it has resulted in more partnerships with web3 projects across the crypto space. Below are the partnerships that were announced during this period:

• Partnership with Crazy Panda
On September 8th, 2022, we announced a partnership with Crazy Panda , an all-encompassing NFT gaming platform which comprises of a Run-to-Earn game, an NFT collection and a marketplace, plus a staking platform for holders to stake Crazy Panda’s native token called $BAMBOO and earn $BNB. This partnership will enable Dojima Network cross-chain and multi-chain functionality to be integrated into Crazy Panda’s wallet connect feature and also the Dojima NFT features will be explored by Crazy Panda’s users. • Partnership With Zone of Avoidance (ZOA)
Also, on September 10th, 2022, we entered another partnership for the month with web3 NFT gaming platform, Zone of Avoidance (ZOA), a PVP/PVE and P2E game, NFT based out battler on which the universe becomes your battle ground.
This partnership will afford Dojima cross-chain wallet to be integrated into ZOA. Also, the team will also be taking advantage of the benefits of Dojima Network’s cross-chain functionality and Dojima NFT products.

Dear partners and community members,

As many of you are aware, it’s much easier to catch a glimpse of what is happening on the front lines, with all the IDOs, airdrops, and other events. But at the same time, much has been happening behind the scenes at Dojima Network, and it is time for an update.

Dojima Network Protocol

First, let us recap what the Dojima Network entails and what we are building.

Dojima Network is a cross-chain infrastructure blockchain that serves as a connection between multiple layer 1 and layer 2 blockchains such as Ethereum, Binance, Polygon, Arweave, Solana, Polkadot, and others, allowing developers to build cross-chain applications on top of Dojima Network with greater ease.

Our goal at Dojima Network is to develop a cross-chain infrastructure that is user-friendly and dependable, allowing protocols across different chains to interact and exchange assets without borders.

1. OPERATIONS AND MARKETING

GALAXY ARENA

On October 31st 2022, we announced a partnership with Galaxy Arena, a decentralized metaverse VR (Virtual Reality) experience run by essence and powered by the polygon network, That uses motion-capture technology to take users on a one-of-a-kind journey through the metaverse with X-to-earn dynamics.

Through this partnership, Galaxy Arena will be able to take advantage of the benefits of Dojima Network cross-chain functionality and will also launch its NFT marketplace on the Dojima Network. 2. Periodic Community Events

The Dojima community has seen tremendous growth in members and engagement over the last few months across all channels.

We have also engaged our community and grown our various social media channels at the same time.

On October 14th and 28th, 2022, we hosted two Twitter space calls on our Twitter channel. Where the team had an in-depth discussion with the Twitter community members about the Dojima Network project and its progress thus far.

WHAT’S NEXT?

TESTNET

Right now, we are focusing on the functionalities of the testnet to make our protocol more user-friendly, which will be launched very soon. We want to show you the real deal, so we are creating the Dojima Network Testnet, which will be a game-changing platform for blockchain projects from all over the crypto world and from every existing crypto ecosystem.

Dojima Network will welcome the first visitors to our vast and affluent ecosystem! You will be able to join our Testnet once it is live. This will enable users to test its basic but essential features, participate in a sandbox environment, and help us improve our platform by providing any feedback that is required.

The aim of the Dojima Network is to build a blockchain infrastructure that will incorporate both the functionalities of a multi-chain and cross-chain architecture into the network. Since the idea of the Dojima Network was conceived, the primary focus of the founders and the development team is to put out a blockchain infrastructure project that will promote the interoperability functions that the crypto space has been longing for.

Since the inception of the Dojima project, the developers have been working with the founders at the backend to achieve this feat. A lot of effort is currently being put in place to roll out this cross-chain project. So far, major chains have been worked on and deployed on the Dojima Network. These blockchains are ready to be operated on the network, just awaiting the testnet for final review and bug fixing (if any) before the final mainnet launch. One of the blockchains that we have deployed onto the Dojima cross-chain network is the Solana blockchain.

Solana is a decentralized blockchain built to enable scalable, user-friendly apps for the world. The Solana blockchain is prominent for its faster transactions with lower transaction fees. These features have endeared the Solana blockchain to a lot of developers and users alike, hence the various DApps that are built on the Solana network.

Below is a structural overview of the processes involved in the Solana transaction on the Dojima network.

HOW WE ARE DOING IT
At Dojima network, we understand the differential nature of both the EVM and non-EVM chains, and as such, our fundamental aim is to bring the interoperability functionalities to even non-EVM chains without any interference from a central party, thereby stimulating a complete decentralization of the network.

To achieve this, the developers at Dojima Network have developed and deployed smart contracts/programs on Solana using an Anchor framework, which on its part facilitates the transactions to and from the Dojima network, despite being built on Solana and having the speed and cost-effectiveness that go along with it, it will be fully usable from Ethereum, this means that existing DeFi projects can access Dojima features and liquidity directly from their native blockchain creating a seamless integration between the current infrastructure and Dojima Network.

On the Dojima-Solana cross-chain program, several parameters have been created to serve different purposes. In the case of each inbound transaction, we pass some parameters as inputs that help the network identify Dojima transactions from the pool of Solana transactions. Also, we pass Dojima vault keys as a parameter to filter the transactions and also pass a memo as a parameter which tells us what kind of transaction is being requested on the Dojima network, either transaction that requires adding liquidity or transactions that involves swapping between different assets.

NARADA AND HERMES CHAIN

Once the transaction is successful, the Dojima block scanner called Narada identifies the transaction and processes it further. Both the Narada and the Hermes chain work closely to process transactions on the Dojima network. On the network, each validator node has a Narada service running whose function is to read the transaction from the chain, in this case, the Solana node, and when there is any inbound transaction to the vault pub keys, it records the transaction and converts it into TxIn items and submits it to the Hermes Chain for further processing.

Upon receiving the TxIn item, the Hermes chain processes the transaction and waits for the consensus. Once the transaction is successful, it moves to a finalized state.

When the Hermes chain receives the transaction, it processes it accordingly and performs the logic which includes state changes. It outputs a TXOut item which is then passed on to the Signer.

One of the blockchain projects that will be incorporated into the Dojima Network cross-chain infrastructure is the Arweave blockchain. Arweave is a decentralized and community-owned storage blockchain that enables users and developers to store documents and applications permanently and enables the transfer of these documents and other information stored in its blockchains.

As a community-owned hard drive, Arweave allows users to remember and preserve valuable information, apps, and history indefinitely, thereby preserving this information and data and preventing any form of rewriting them.

Due to the data transfer and storage features on the Dojima Network, it would be deploying the Arweave chain to its cross-chain infrastructure. Dojima and Arweave will work hand in glove to provide a decentralized permanent data storage for all the data and information on the network and ensure that these data can be retrieved when required.

USE CASES

Below are the use cases of the Arweave chain by the Dojima Network:

1. Dojima chain data will be stored on the Arweave blockchain.

2. Arweave would be Dojima Network’s official data storage provider.

3. All data of NFTs minted on the Dojima Network would be stored on the Arweave chain.

The native token of the Arweave network is called AR, and the smallest unit is the Winston. One AR = 1e12 Winston (1000000000000 Winston)

Arweave transaction format allows users to add small key/value pairs in the tags field and AR token value in the quantity field. Arweave uses the RSA signature, a public-key cryptosystem that provides a digital signature scheme (sign + verify), based on the math of the modular exponentiations and discrete logarithms (https://cryptobook.nakov.com/digital-signatures/rsa-signatures).

Once a user transfers the Arweave AR token to the Dojima Hermes chain address, it will receive it, observe and extract the transaction and processes it according to the memo description like adding or removing liquidity or swapping to Solana SOL or Polkadot DOT token. The Polkadot blockchain is another chain that will be plugged into the Dojima Network cross-chain infrastructure. Polkadot is a blockchain platform and a cryptocurrency project that allows other blockchains to exchange messages and perform transactions with each other. This allows for cross-chain transfers of data or assets between different independent chains, and for DApps to be built using the network.

Polkadot is a multi-chain infrastructure ecosystem. Its native token is called DOT and the smallest unit of DOT is Planck. One DOT = 1e10 -10000000000 Planck

Like other DOT chain transactions, it doesn’t allow users to add a message string to the transaction. In substrate-based chains, pallets are the functional part of the blockchain. They are like modules which are specific to the functionality like balances pallets are purely for transfer or assets pallet provides simple and secure methods for dealing with fungible assets.
To overcome the problem, the Dojima developers have decided to use balance and system pallets. The balance pallet which is balances::transfer allows the user to transfer DOT tokens and the system pallet which is system::remark allows the user to add any message string. Here is the other problem, since pallets are working for specific functionality, users have to make two transactions to the chain. To overcome this, one more pallet called utility which allows to batch any number of pallet transactions into one transaction.
