Minnesota 50501 is a 501(c)4 nonprofit organization. This means your donation is not tax deductible.

Your donation goes directly to a general fund that we use to grow and sustain the movement. Funds will be used to cover costs including:

• Supporting mutual aid partners that are providing relief for housing and food insecurity

• Equipping and resupplying our street medics and marshals

• Providing direct aid in the form of supplies and basic medical care to vulnerable communities

• Planning and hosting community events of all scales, from candlelight vigils to No Kings protests

• Training and education programs on important topics like constitutional rights and mutual aid

• Covering legal, administrative, and other overhead costs of running a nonprofit organization

• And a variety of other important ongoing work!

Important note: MN50501 volunteers are NEVER paid! However, we do our best to cover reasonable out-of-pocket expenses our volunteers encounter while doing this work for our community.

Yes. Many of our donation platforms include the option to add a note or memo. Unless otherwise specified, your donation will go to our general fund.

We refuse to let money dictate our mission and values, and instead only use money as a means to further the work being on on the ground and behind the scenes to support our belief that all Minnesotans deserve the right to freedom, opportunity, and safety.
