About the authors

Writer of wonky words and smudges, Musician, Sound & Visual Artist, Designer and Editor, and Voice. Usually covered in fur, or plant matter, often quite muddy. Animal friend, tree hugger and editor of the FromOneLine anthologies. Often found in the undergrowth chatting to plants and creatures. At other times found making curious sounds (sometimes into a microphone) and doodling designs. Happiest when creating, or inspiring others to create!

C.X. Turner is a UK poet and the author of evergreen – a collection of haiku, senryu and tanka (Alba Publishing, 2024) – longlisted in the Touchstone distinguished books award category in 2024. Their poems and artwork have been widely published in over 100 international journals and anthologies, earning them Pushcart and Touchstone nominations, as well as The Tejasvat Award (haikuKATHA, 2024). They are the author of anemones (Yavanika Press, 2023), and Building Sandcastles, co-authored with James Welsh (Literary Revelations, 2023). They are co-editor of Wales Haiku Journal and they enjoy experimenting with short-form poetry and collaborating with other poets, when not working as a registered social work manager.
