V. Ananya is an multi-genre author of fiction hailing from India. Currently, she lives with her husband and their young toddler. Having completed her Master of Arts in History and gaining two years of work experience in her field, she quit her career temporarily to complete her BEd. She is a big fan of combining her academic love with her imagination, and the end result is a great story!

Her debut "The Young Foreigner" is the first of a series of young adult fantasy story called "The Sahara Chronicles" its sequel was out in December 2022, and the third book released in 2025. Her poetry anthology made its debut in January 2026 and her sapphic short love story came out in March 2026. More works are soon to follow.

When she's not writing or researching, she's reading a novel, helping her parents, or watching a show. Ananya's dream is to one day have a library in her own home.
