Feels like a very lateral move for Giannis.

Feels like a very lateral move for Giannis.

First: The signal dots on the bottom right now move up the screen vertically instead of going right to left.
Second: If a post is older than this year, a very subtle year shows up under the date. Important now that I’m doing a lot of backdating.
Third: As mentioned the other day, drafts are going public, and ten are already backdated. So many more to add, but at least this feature is up and running.
Fourth: Tagged pages now have an infinite scroll too, just like the homepage does. Before, it would only show the first ten tagged posts and hide the others. That’s now fixed.

Thanks to the Enjoying feature in Sofa, I have a great way to track what I’m currently…enjoying.
So far this week:
Starting the morning off with two videos:
Landed hard on my knee last night during basketball. Now I’m limping around. Have a feeling it’ll be a slow day. I’ll be catching up on all my admin tasks. Happy Tuesday.

Check your updates. The second beta is now available.
iOS 27 introduces Apple’s smarter version of Siri, Siri AI. Siri AI is a chatbot similar to ChatGPT, incorporating general world knowledge, personal data from apps like Messages and Mail, and onscreen awareness to answer questions and find information for you.

Steam Machine embargo just lifted. Here’s some of the reviews to check out.

One of the main reasons I’m using OmniFocus now, is because OmniFocus handles all the grunt work, while the simplicity happens with the Analog System.
After capturing with Siri, and organizing in OmniFocus, the actual work happens on the Analog card. I start with an empty card, date it, scan through OmniFocus for what I should work on, fill out the card, and then put notes on the back.
Ten actions on the front, related notes on the back. Nothing else. No app. No phone. Just a little card that follows me through the day.

Proud of the Systems box that I built over the weekend. “Top Topics” and “Recent Posts.” You’ll see it at the top of the home and tag pages, and at the bottom of entry pages.
It’s a great example of iteration. This box was two different boxes before. Now they’re merged into one.
It took building those separately to think of building this one. One idea I build today becomes a building block for something I build tomorrow.
I always look forward to Mondays, simply for the potential of what could happen next in the world. There are a lot of stories brewing. A lot of things I’m interested in that are set to drop this week. I look forward to digging through the internet to find all of them. Let’s begin.

Drafts will become public going forward. My unfinished songs. This used to be something that I’ve always kept private or accessible to a handful of people. Sitting on hundreds of them just for this next album. Thousands if we go back further.
Going forward, I want these to be just another layer to the website. I’ll slowly start backdating the old one too, so keep an eye on the Drafts tag.
