About

heim is an ongoing attempt to create fast and eventually full-featured async library for system information fetching (ex., CPU, memory, disks or processes stats).

At a high level, it provides information about:

  • CPU
  • Disks
  • Host
  • Memory
  • Networks (in progress)
  • Processes (in progress)
  • Virtualization (in progress)
  • Sensors (in progress)
  • Windows services (in progress)

Currently it supports following platforms:

  • Linux
  • macOS
  • Windows

While heim is a young project, it can compete with other Rust crates already, check out the comparison tables for additional information.
