Hello, I am Lain Volta.For the past 20+ years I have dedicated my life to the creation of art.It has been my life's purpose, and I have struggled and been blessed with being able to create art and music for most of my adult life.I started out by drawing comics and making games and game music in my early teens.In my late teens, graphic design, illustration and sound design took over, and eventually these were later combined and turned into an art and sound project called she / shemusic in 2003 that I am most known for today.Over the years my creative output expanded into multiple projects, creating characters, writing stories, drawing &amp; designing, programming games and creating a universe to combine it all into.My drive for creating art was never based on aspirations of making money, and so I spent my first 10 years releasing my works for free but as time went on it became clear that to be able to continue creating my world I needed some help since I am not at all a savvy or outspoken promoter.When I do music production, drawing and illustrating, 3D modeling, programming and lately writing more comprehensive literary works and at the same time having to manage a social media presence that the ever-changing algorithm seems to be constantly working against, it is starting to affect and hurt my creativity, output and reach as well.So it is here where I feel like my next journey should begin, and so naturally I want all of you to be a part of it!The goal of this Patreon is to have a direct link to all of you and your support, so that I can have an algorithm-free zone and give myself calm and breathing room enough to stay true to my purpose and focus on growing.To be able to share with you my in progress works, thoughts, hidden gems, behind the scenes, videos and so much more.With your support, I believe we can get there!For me there is no greater feeling or privilege than being able to create, share and inspire people, and through the hard times and the good times, with your help I hope that I can continue to do so.Thank you for being with me, for listening, reading and enjoying my life's work.- Lain
