Welcome to the "Meanderings of a Marked Man." It's about a man who's been cursed to live forever and runs into trouble wherever he goes. In this first book, he clashes with witch burnings in the past and an authoritarian government in the present. I'll be posting new chapters from the first book, "What Fire Cannot Take," every week, and releasing the complete book later in the year. I'm the author of The Great War of the Worlds, an ongoing series set in the aftermath of the Martian invasion from The War of the Worlds. My lifelong curiosity about technology and science fiction led to a career repairing radars in the U.S. Army, followed by another as a programmer on Wall Street. This technical background lends authentic detail and rigor to the alien technology and military action in my work. When I'm not writing stories about Martian Tripods and tank battles, I'm training dogs in New Jersey.
