The family that has cared for Hyderabad's eyes for fifty years.
As a boy, our founder watched his mother lose her sight, and quietly gave his life to making sure others would not. He helped start one of India's earliest eye banks and carried care to villages through hundreds of rural eye camps, performing around three lakh cataract operations and knowing many of his patients by name. He was honoured with the Padma Shri and the Padma Bhushan. In 1975 he founded this hospital, a calling now carried by the third generation of his family.

Questions people ask before visiting
Do I need an appointment, or can I just walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome during our hours, Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 14:00 and 16:30 to 19:00. To keep things calm and quick, especially if you are bringing an elderly parent, send us a quick WhatsApp first and we will suggest a time.
Where exactly are you, and is there parking?
We are at 3-5-886, Himayat Nagar Road, beside the Kia showroom, near the Old MLA Quarters, Hyderabad 500029. There is adequate parking on site, and the hospital is wheelchair accessible.
Will the same surgeon see me every visit?
Yes. Dr. H. Siva Mohan Reddy examines you, plans your care, and performs your surgery. The surgeon who examines you is the one who treats you, visit after visit. There is no rotating panel here.
Do you offer cashless, and which insurance do you accept?
Yes. We are actively empanelled on GIPSA PPN and work with major TPAs and insurers, with cashless commonly available for cataract surgery, intravitreal injections, and pterygium surgery. Cover varies by policy, so send us your insurer name on WhatsApp and we will confirm yours honestly before your visit.
Can I get an honest second opinion before agreeing to surgery?
Yes, and many people come to us for exactly that. We examine your eyes, explain your own reports and scans plainly, and will tell you if a surgery you were advised is not urgent, or not needed yet. You can send your reports on WhatsApp before you visit.
Do you see children's eyes too?
Yes. We care for the whole family, including routine checks for children and a dedicated myopia clinic for rising glasses power in school-age children. If you are worried about your child's eyes, message us and we will guide you.
