Fantastic high-energy, genre-bending jazzy brassy vibes! This album was so much fun I had to press repeat as soon as I was done with the first listen.

I especially enjoy Dancehall Caballeros and Respectness.

It's extremely accessible if you don't speak German: give it a spin!

boisterous, relentless skate punk with grunge vibes

The Offspring's second studio album earns its very solid four star rating in just over 37 minutes. The drumming stood out as especially excellent to me. The majority of these tracks were new to me. This album also benefits from the consistency of Dexter Holland penning all but one track. I didn't expect to hear the hard "r" 🥷 on a Monday morning but the song is a good example of the moral clarity that's not unexpected from a Southern Californian band in 1992.

🎺 This album is a fantastic example of what I truly L-O-V-E about jazz. I would need to listen a bunch more times but I am so glad this came up today.

🌟 Herbie Hancock, John McLaughlin AND Chick Corea are among the big names on this album: kind of amazing and fitting for such a groundbreaking album. For me, this is an album I can put on whenever and be transported somewhere wonderful.

🔵 This pairs so well with "Kind of Blue" if you're exploring Miles' catalog again.

Decent! At 22 tracks, there are probably a few too many songs on this album. I like "The Way I Am", "Tell 'Em About Tonight" and "Be By You". None of the songs are anywhere near as good as what got me into Luke Combs in the first place. I'll give this album a few more listens though there are a few tracks I'll probably skip.
