2026 Record Store Day reprise of the 1968 album 'Live' by the 13th Floor Elevators. Spurned at the time for being billed as "Live" when in fact it was a compilation of previously recorded studio masters, outtakes and alternate mixes. The "very loud" crowd noise was overdubbed and was actually taken from a boxing match and wholly inappropriate for the purpose. Now, almost 60 years on, the album masters are available, in their original sequence, without the crowd noise, to be enjoyed in their full psychedelic splendor.

Following the breakup of The Police, their drummer Stewart Copeland undertook a musical odyssey through the heart of Africa in search of the roots of rock & roll. Originally released as both a film, (directed and produced by Jean-Pierre Dutilleux) and album in 1985, The Rhythmatist preceded the release of Graceland by Paul Simon which was to follow in 1986.
The album, produced by Stewart along with Jeff Seitz, featured the singles Koteja (Oh Bolilla) featuring Ray Lema, a major figure in world music himself, as well as Gong Rock.

Never repressed since its original release, the brand new edition comes with exclusive refreshed artwork and is newly mastered from the original master tapes by Phil Kinrade at Air Studios.

Dear Children of Our Children, I Knew�is a new EP recorded by�Alabaster DePlume�in the middle of his March 2025 US tour. DePlume had been playing shows with bassist�Shahzad Ismaily�and drummer�Tcheser Holmes, performing music of his critically-acclaimed album A Blade Because A Blade Is Whole (released March 2025). The trio's rapport was so strong that DePlume chose to use an off day in Brooklyn to record this collection of instrumentals, which were inspired by experiences he had sharing, performing and improvising off the music of A Blade for audiences across the US. Dear Children in a sense serves as an epilogue to A Blade, which makes it all the more appropriate that the B side of its RSD-exclusive vinyl release contains the three song EP�Cremisan: Prologue to A Blade, which was released (digital only) in fall 2024. As with almost everything that DePlume has put forth in recent years, the connection of this work to Palestine is deep: the Cremisan EP itself was recorded in Palestine; Dear Children includes samples of children recorded in Bethlehem; and the album's cover art depicts wheatpaste posters of a drawing made by a 13 year old boy from Gaza (used with permission).

Along with TLC, En Vogue was the girl group of the �90s. Few bands embodied the raw spirit of American rock & roll like Flat Duo Jets. In March 2025, after seven years as a live band, Ghost Funk Orchestra finally made their first overseas voyage to tour Europe and the UK. Live In Europe is a document that showcases the eight-piece touring band at the height of its powers.
The track list was constructed from two consecutive sold out shows, the first at Jassmine in Warsaw and the second at Paradiso in Amsterdam. It leans heavily on songs from An Ode To Escapism and A New Kind Of Love, while also including a few tracks from A Trip To The Moon, a nod to the early GFO days with the song "Evil Minds," and even a few brand new tunes.
Both shows were professionally recorded, with Amsterdam�s recording being handled by the Abbey Road Institute.

Were "The Watchtowers" is the final recordings of Dallas Good of The Sadies, recorded prior to his unexpected passing in February 2022. This collaboration between Good and Richard Reed Parry of Arcade Fire (originally calling their duo �The Watchtowers") had slowly been written and recorded over the course of a decade whenever the two had a spare weekend. �It has been the slowest moving musical endeavour of my entire life,� Parry says. �We didn�t plan to do it this way, it�s just how it happened. Tiny, joyous flourishes of activity a couple times a year for over a decade.�
Many of Good�s collaborators make guest appearances on the album, including Neko Case, Kurt Vile, Yo La Tengo, Jim Jarmusch, John Doe, Jon Spencer, Scott McCaughey, Gary Louris and Margaret Atwood. The album explores the cosmic, psychedelic Americana sounds that The Sadies perfected on 2022�s Colder Streams that featured Parry in the producer�s chair. Two discs celebrating the 50th anniversary of "It's Arbor Day Charlie Brown" and the 60th Anniversary of "Charlie Brown's All Stars." "Arbor Day" comes in a 10" clear 45 RPM "baseball" LP, and "All Stars" comes on a special glove-shaped 45 RPM vinyl for Record Store Day to celebrate the beloved Peanuts� specials.
"All Stars," the second Peanuts primetime special following "A Charlie Brown Christmas" first aired June 8,1966. Performed by the Vince Guaraldi Sextet - Guaraldi (piano), Eugene "Puzzy" Firth (bass), Eddie Duran (guitar), John Coppola and Frank Snow (trumpet), and Lee Charlton (drums).
"Arbor Day" was the 15th and final Peanuts special Vince Guaraldi composed and performed. Guaraldi passed away on February 6, 1976, the day he recorded this wonderful music, at the age of 47. The Trio features Seward McCain (bass), and Jim Zimmerman (drums), who were with Vince when he passed away in Menlo Park CA. CBS aired the special several weeks later, on March 16, 1976.
Both TV specials were written by Charles Schulz, and produced by Bill Melendez and Lee Mendelson. "Arbor Day" was directed by Phil Roman and Melendez and "All Stars" was directed by Melendez.
The records were mixed and mastered for audiophiles, jazz lovers, and Peanuts� fans everywhere. Clark Germain mixed "Arbor Day" at WonderWorld Studio, Vinson Hudson restored and mastered the records including "All Stars" and Sean & Jason Mendelson produced the records. This Record Store Day edition includes a 6-page trifold insert with art from the special, liner notes by Sean & Jason Mendelson, and Derrick Bang (author of "Vince Guaraldi at the Piano").
The records are bio-attributed vinyl to reduce carbon footprint, with sustainably forested paper and in a PVC gatefold jacket and a recycled bag. In 2026, for every copy sold, LMFP will contribute $1.00 to the Arbor Day Foundation, with a minimum annual donation of $12,000 leading to the planting of one tree is a forest of need. Purchases will not be tax deductible.

Consonance: Live at the Jazz Showcase is the first ever release of saxophone titan Joe Henderson and his quartet featuring pianist Joanne Brackeen, bassist Steve Rodby and drummer Danny Spencer, captured live at Joe Segal's Jazz Showcase in Chicago, IL in February of 1978. The limited-edition 180g, 3-LPset was mastered from the original tapes by George Klabin and John Koenig, with lacquers cut by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab in Salina, KS, and pressed at Quebec's boutique audiophile pressing plant Le Vinylist. This is part of Resonance's debut launch of releases from Joe Segal's Jazz Showcase archives, marking the beginning of what will hopefully be a long line of incredible releases from the club's archives. The deluxe package includes newly curated liner notes by co-producer John Koenig, plus interviews with Joanne Brackeen, Steve Rodby, Danny Spencer, Joe Segal's son Wayne Segal and more.

Having grown up on jazz, Motown and gospel, vocalists Tonya Kelly, Joi Marshall and Di Reed � known collectively as Jade - could make just about anything sound good. It also helped that the R&B trio�s 1992 debut, Jade To The Max, had top-notch production and material to work with as well. Hitmaker/mentor Vassal Benford penned nearly half of the eleven songs here with co-producer Ron Spearman.
