I've been seeing some mention that the v4's 500mw can make a big difference, but others point out that more TX = less sensitive RX and that things can "get worse" especially at higher powers. Maybe there's also some issues with the v4's auto gain?
All I've got is a Wio Tracker L1 Pro, and one of my biggest problems is that I can hear other nodes but often not TX out because when I'm on the go I'm too far from the nearest repeater.

Wio tracker L1 Pro. I can see messages in the Public channel and adverts for lots of relays and nodes. But when I try sending a message to a friend, it says “failed” no matter how many times I try. If I send a message to the Public channel it says “Sent” but I get no replies from the people in the channel like they didn’t see it.
Do I need to set up a relay at my house? Does the device lack enough Tx power?
