About
Celestial Mask Productions is the theatre company created by Rohan K Croman in 2025. It’s mission is to create shows that talk about the world, in relation to three key elements: people, society, and nature.
We aim to highlight issues within these worlds and to reinforce dialogue on these issues allowing for real conversations. We do this through our ethos of respectfully approaching these issues and then combining existing discourse with philosophy, psychology and popular culture, to create new stories that blend reality and fantasy.
We also aim to hire and promote actors from a diverse range of actors, particularly those from ethnic minorities, or from working class backgrounds.
Values
Collaboration- We want to work with other creatives and companies to make the best shows that we possibly can, as we understand that others may have more understanding of some topics.
Curiosity- A drive to learn and to understand more about the world we live in, to constantly be learning more and experiment.
Creativity- We want to be creative both in the shows we create and in our process, we want to challenge ourselves and push the boundaries on structure, style, and genre within each show having these elements crafted around it rather than the other way around.
Respect- We will be handling a range of topics and it is important that we’re sensitive in our handling of them, and that we understand what boundaries shouldn’t be crossed.

Where Next? A play about the afterlife in different cultures and the importance of understanding over knowing.
CandoR. A play mixing sketch and verbatim theatre focusing on racism and its colonial roots.
