My Story

A lifelong New Englander, I grew up shuttling between an indie bookstore and an antiques shop. Storytelling, in all its forms, drew me to dabble in drama and cobble together a patchwork of studies in radio, television, and writing. I was a radio host and performed as a costumed tour guide before launching a long-term career in academia.

I came to audiobook narration as an avid listener and long-time pupil of vocal performance. My previous experiences working in counseling and course instruction further fuel my delivery, which is equal parts empathetic and authoritative. Forever bookish, I have a fondness for magical realism, memoirs, thrillers, feminist bits and pieces, spooky stuff, and anything featuring dogs or witches.
